The bedroom was nice, the bed was very comfortable. It's about 30 mins to get to the city of Edinburgh, which was fine. 10 mins away from the train station (Haymarket] from the hotel.
The full English breakfast was very poorly, didn't taste right, and all was really disappointed!

Absolute nightmare for parking ! Sent us to a car park that had no spaces so we had to reverse out .
Stuck in the car with an autistic child trying to ring and find out where else we could park . They didn’t answer the phone it rang for ages . Eventually answered when I had walked from the car park back to the hotel . Told me to park somewhere else that was about 10 mins walk away .
They said there was no car parking spaces in the hotel car park , however our bedroom faced the car park and there were 3 spaces !! When I asked about accessible spaces due to child they said there was none , again there were 2 spaces free !!
I think to make this car parking partnership work with the outside agency they need to keep a check on if there are spaces instead of just sending clients there . Especially late at night with children ( they can see the room is booked with a child ) actually answering the phone would help too .

The reception staff were excellent, especially Emi, who helped me out, and she went above and beyond what I would have expected. Under what I thought was an extremely stressful situation, she calmed me down, took control, and spoke to external companies, ensuring a positive result.

Close to HayMarket station in case you decide the take a tram from the airport to the centre (highly recommended). 20 mins walking from all central locations in the city, also nice local restaurants in the area.

Alto booked for a child to sleep in our room the bed( couch)for her was not made. For that amount of money a night you'd expect the bed to be made.
