The hotel is large with many rooms with the benefits of a large institution.
It is not luxurious but it is comfortable and very nice, kept very clean and orderly.
The breakfast was surprisingly rich and well managed. The only problem was I ate more than I wanted to!
The location was as expected: a 10-20 minute walk (a safe and easy walk) to the center. It's up to you if that is too far or not.
There was no problem getting a parking space and it was about half the price of other spaces. But you can't reserve a space so it's hard to know how often spaces are not available.
Staff at the reception desk were nice and helpful.
The hotel was not inexpensive, but I think the price was appropriate all things considered.
Rooms could have been bigger. We were there only two nights so it was not a problem but for a longer stay it might be more bothersome.
We did not find any good restaurants very nearby. Maybe we did not try hard enough or were not adventurous enough, but it seemed that all the decent restaurants were in the center, at least a 10-minute walk away.
We were a family of 5 so we had to have two separate rooms but almost no hotels have rooms large enough to accommodate 5 people.

Great hotel that was extremely quiet even though full and it suited all our needs. It was a 12 minute walk to Princess street from the hotel which was no problem for us but there were bus stops all along the route if needed.
We did take a taxi to the train station however as it is very busy on Princess Street and making your way through the crowds with a suitcase is no fun (fixed price of £11) which reception kindly ordered for us.

The staff were friendly and the hotel is comfortable.
Felt there was a dirty drain smell in the room. It wasn’t very strong but it was there. Felt the cooked breakfast was a bit meh. In Scotland and no square sausage also no fried eggs or mushrooms and the bacon was so hard not crispy hard!

in the bathroom, namely in the shower, there is a plastic covering and it is very slippery. You need to lay down some kind of rug, otherwise when you wash your feet will slip and you can fall
