The second room after being moved was clean and tidy and well appointed.
Location was great and an easy walk to Edinburgh Castle
Staff not helpful when we found ourselves in the accessible room. No other rooms available other than a twin. We checked booking.com and queens were available? Accessible room is next to gym with free weights. They start hitting the floor at 6am which is ridiculous. Moved to another room the following morning by a wonderful staff member.
To be honest after staying at both the bath and london Hampton by Hilton the Edinburgh version not in the same league in relation to customer service.

Staff were excellent,very friendly and hotel was spotless.
Think hotel is overpriced for what you get,ive stayed at Hamptons in Liverpool,Manchester(avoid that one)and Blackpool all inc breakfast and around £120-£140 but this was £268,and bit of a walk to the city.
Taxi from hotel to Waverley station was £23 for 10 min trip so we were stung for that.
Overall regarding the hotel was a nice stay and really nice staff
Hotel over priced,drinks over priced and no hotel evening meal avail,but they do panini or pizzas,there is a place to eat in the hotel called Sofias but that is nothing to do with Hotel is a private Resturant,but food is lovely as we had evening meal there as it was too far to walk back in the town after walking round all day

I requested an adjoined room because my brother is a vulnerable adult with medical needs so I needed to be close. My request was granted and I am so grateful.

On the main bus routes into the city.
No main restaurant
Intermittent elevators
Snack meal delayed by 40 minutes for training purposes
