Any request like eggs cooked different was denied. Milk in the coffee machine was watered. Housekeeping was poor with traces of dust.

Breakfast had many assortments. We especially was thrilled with the mixed drinks/wine/beer available in the bar area in the lobby ( for a reasonable fee) plus you could get some hot munchy food ( pizza, grilled cheese etc) which we really enjoyed after a full day of site seeing. Hotel was 20 minutes walking distance from the castle. Rooms were clean. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Very Good
We needed a hotel within a 15 minute walk of central Edinburgh that offered secure off-street parking. Room-rate included breakfast which was good. Pleasant, clean quiet room. Well located in a safe neighborhood.

The interior is newly renovated, and the reception staff are professional.
The bed is uncomfortable, the breakfast quality is below average, the cleaning does not meet professional standards, there is no luggage service, and the accommodation is overpriced.
