The location was perfect. So central and so many things to see, do, and places to eat all within walking distance. The dorm was cosy and the bathrooms were clean and of good quality.

The hostel is very well located, close to Waverley Station, the Airlink bus stop and the Royal Mile. The staff kindly switched me from the very top bunk to the very bottom bunk (3 beds on top of each other) from one night to the next as soon as a lower bed was free. The bed was comfortable with a socket and light. The locker associated with my bed was big enough for my luggage. Showers and toilets were fine. There was a small lounge area. I believe there was a kitchen on the top floor but I didn't use it.
Just be aware that the hostel is at the top of the building, so you have to climb a lot of stairs. But if you are reasonably fit and your luggage is not too heavy, it's fine.

The location & providing luggage security.
No laundry facilities for customers. And carry heavy suit cases up stairs. A porter would be appreciated i bet.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lounge was great. It was well organized and clean.
It was hot in the room. It is located furthest up in the building, and it was a bit heavy to carry the bag up there.

The staff were incredibly helpful and informed me about the Fringe Festival. I stayed in a 6-bed female dorm. The hostel was very clean and well organized. I had read some reviews mentioning noise issues, but I didn’t experience anything like that at all. The other guests were also very considerate about noise and lights. The location is excellent, very close to Waverley train station. They allowed me to leave my luggage both before check-in and after check-out, which was very convenient. If I come back to Edinburgh, I definitely wouldn’t look for another place to stay.
I honestly didn’t dislike anything about this hostel.

I was confortable
No elevator and the stay is at third floor and the reception at fourth. With luggages! I learned after booking. But staff help me out with everything else. Love them
