This was a perfect location in Old Town. It was off the main street, so avoided heavy foot traffic, but easily accessible to everything.
Since it is just off the main street it was a bit noisy in the evenings, but really that is to be expected on a weekend in the city.

Close to Waverley train station. The room was bigger than our Paris and London hotels on this trip. The staff was very helpful

The reception staff is very friendly and helpfull. The view from the room was absolutely stunning. The location is 2 steps away from the Royal Mile.

It was very well situated, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean.
The communal area on the 5th floor stank of cigarette smoke. Our room was very small compared to other rooms on the fire floor plan. The tap was loose on the kitchen area, the shower head was broken and would spurt water out of the join of turned on full power. There was no discount on parking at Waverley Street parking as per booking.com FAQs. The staff said this has never been the case.

Position
The Room Wasnot as big as it was Is in the Photograph. The personnel at the breakfast Restaurant was rude. We got fined by police for parking after only Ten Minutes.

The location is excellent. Right on the Royal Mile, short walk to the Castle, Grassmarket and Princes and Georges street.
Nothing - we were on 7th floor and the lift only goes to the 6th - but that didn’t bother us.

Excellent location just off the Royal Mile
Check-in process. reception demanded we provide ID, lucky enough my wife had her driver license on her. if no ID we wasn't getting to check-in. Never had this experience with a British hotel ever. Receptionist wasn't very pleasant and very demanding
