Its in the middle of the old city so its so easy to be beaf the coffee shops and the walking area, its a bit far from the shopping centre
Its a bit old style decoration where it was really difficult for me to use the very high bath top, i asked for a room with shower not bath top , the toilet wasn’t clean enough specially the WC Which was dirty from the previous guest

Location was great, just off the royal mile, 1min walk to Victoria Street and 5mins to Waverley train station. Rooms were large and clean. Free use of laundry facilities was also great. Staff were all friendly.

Both the front office and cleaning staff were incredibily kind and thoughtful. The location of the hotel was great, situated in the middle of everything. Both old town and new town are within walking distance. We were on the 5th floor with a nice city view and the room itself was beautiful and very clean, with good amenities. Beds were great too. All in all a great city hotel!
Warm breakfast was a little limited, with few options, but it is fine if you need a quick bite before you head out into the city.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had no problem leaving our luggage there, which was really convenient. Everything was easy and hassle-free. Highly recommended! Perfect location,
Just one small suggestion: it would be lovely to have fresh bottles of water provided after the room is cleaned. We had used the water from the day before and it wasn’t replaced, but apart from that, everything was great.

Amazing location.
The room would be perfect and much more comfortable if it was clean. My bed was full of hair and the surfaces around the room covered in dust. There was also a lot of hair all around the bathroom. I didn’t feel comfortable during my stay as I didn’t feel it was clean.
On my last day, I requested a late checkout and was almost charged double the normal rate. I was told normal checkout is at 11am, however I could check out at 12pm free of charge, and for every extra hour I would have to pay around £20. I was almost charged double £40 and I would have if I wasn’t paying full attention. They would have charged me double if I hadn’t questioned them
