The location and staff were great!
The heat was hard to regulate. When we arrived it was freezing in our room. Then when we got the heat to work it was so hot in our room we had to open the windows.

The location was perfect and the property is maintained to a high standard with nice decor. The tall windows in the room and the views were beautiful.
I would have loved a mirror to get ready in the room. Maybe something over a desk with a light would be ideal.

Hotel v clean , good location.
I enquired about a room.w 2 beds when I booked. I was told no problem. I even received an email befoew my arrival, confirming room w 2 beds. When we arrived hotel, too eaely in the morning, I was assured it will be 2 beds. When we checked in close to 4, the room had only one bed. Had to go back to reception. Waited 20+ mins for house keeping. It was a big job for them. I felt bad

everything we wanted to do and see was in walking distance, the castle is a 3min walk
we liked evertyhing except for the blowdryer, but that is not the end of the world.

The location was excellent, the laundry facilities were incredibly useful although very busy on Saturday night, the room was beautiful and clean.
My biggest complaint is that a double bed is not two twins pushed together. Absolutely ridiculous for a hotel of this price to shove two twin mattresses together and assume this would be acceptable.

Very close to Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle
Tiny rooms, very expensive, small breakfast options, no parking on site, no validation to parking ticket when sent to a car park 15mins away. Hotel is near a Bar and it was so nosey till midnight very hard to sleep with the sound of people talking and laughing right next door.
