Very conveniently located near Ocean Terminal. Easy for those who want to take public transport.
Had to remind the front desk to get the room cleaned and made up and even then they skipped the next day. In over 9 days of stay, our room was cleaned and bed made maybe 3 to 4 times. The room is too small if you are traveling with large suitcases.

Great location at Ocean Trminal, tram a 2 minute walk away, comfortable. Staff great, gave us navigation assistance on a couple of occasions.

Brilliant staff. Left with an over riding feeling that nothing was too much trouble. Staff I spoke to were local to the region and happy to advise and assist. Very friendly.
I thought the quality of the breakfast was poor. Not enough choice.

Great location. Handy car park, although worth noting there are other cheaper alternatives near by.
Not worth the price. We went for breakfast at 9:10 and lots of items had run out (eggs, pastries, plates!) and were not being replenished, which considering there were 50 mins left of breakfast is unacceptable. Room was grubby and had tooth flossers laying around and wrappers under the fold down bed. We were a family of 4 and were left 2 towels. Oh, and the fire alarm went off at 7am with no explanation.

Rooms were adequate and as you'd expect from a Holiday Inn. This one was very efficiently run and all the staff we encountered were very pleasant and very helpful.

The location was what attracted us most on booking. (Royal Yacht Britannia and easy public transport into city centre)
Probably fair to say we are not fond of large city hotels but sometimes its a 'needs/must' situation.
No adverse comments though about hotel/staff just not out preferred situation.
If visiting that area again I would have no hesitation in stopping here though.
As above really. Just not for us. Clearly though, very popular with a considerable cross section of people.
