Only good thing, not too far from downtown
Terrible service & broken promises
Blocked shower drain with dirty water rising to my ankles. Staff were rude, and management promised to make it right but later denied ever saying it. Disgusting experience —-avoid this hotel.

Just the location is nice, everything else was an awful experience.
Awful stay – management lies
Filthy shower with blocked drain and disgusting water. Staff were rude, and management promised compensation but later denied it completely. Poor hygiene, zero accountability . never again.

the location and clean room
I recently stayed at this hotel after travelling a long distance and was disappointed to find no water bottle provided in the room. After such a journey, having drinking water available is a basic necessity. Additionally, there were no slippers provided, which is a standard amenity in most hotels I’ve stayed at. These small details make a big difference to the guest experience, and their absence left a negative impression. I hope the management considers adding these basic facilities in the future.

Excellent location for us to catch the tram into the city. Lovely area, nice and peaceful
I shared a room with my sister-in-law and niece. I was on a sofa bed and it was the most uncomfortable thing ever! Also we could hear next doors tv’s, people knocking on other doors and arguments from other guests. There didn’t seem to be any sound proofing, we could hear everything

The location was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
There was no fridge in the room, and the breakfast lacked variety — the same options were served for all three days and it was very busy.

Location in the calm Leith and very close to the tram to Edinburgh center. Large room. Possibility to have all the meals.
Some personnel was very kind, some other not. Breakfast was a little messy and there are not enough tables and seats in the peak time. Room was not always cleaned properly.

Family friendly, Family Room was on high floor which was great for the view. All basic amenities, restaurants (including Pizza Express, Nandos, Zizi and Tesco express, nearby in walkable Ocean Terminal building, quite location and easily accessible with Tram/Bus to city center and Airport.
Breakfast. Limited options and very small area for number of guests in the Hotel. Little girl waited and waited near pancake machine but the batter was never filled up. Hotel could do more about the Breakfast options (including vegetarian) and management of that area during peak hours.
