Location is rather convenient, not far from the train station and Princes street. The hotel is run efficiently, there is a huge turnover of people and members of stuff manage to treat everyone with a smile. Breakfast was adequate with a good selection of dishes.
I did not appreciate hotel's style and ambiance. The hotel is not cosy, it's just a place to sleep. For quite a lot of money though.

The choices available were were wide and appetising to look at. However , I am a basic tea and toast man.
My daughter booked the hotel reservation for me and I was expecting a modern, factory style hotel. I walked passed the hotel several times and was surprised to see how beautiful the hotel was.
After spending long days enjoying festival events I was looking forward to returning to the hotel lounge and having a glass of decent wine. Unfortunately the wine was of a poor standard from a small plastic bottle. I left the hotel and found a wine bar

Great location that was close to all variety of public transportation. All kinds of food witgin walking distance. Breakfast was super yummy. There is a grocery store nearby as well. Staff was awesome. We were able to store our luggage while we went to London for a few days. When we got back from our trip, the staff was great.
It was a little pricey.

Great location.
It was understandably expensive for what it was because it was during the festival. However, I thought the staff were excellent. Really helpful and accommodating. I also thought the free breakfast was an excellent offering.

The location was very good, only a short walk to the old part of the city. There were many restaurants and grocery stores all around. The room was clean, and the attendants at the lobby were very hepfull and friendly. The room was a bit small, but it did have a nice bed with clean sheets, a desk, coffee maker, TV on wall and side tables with electric and usb connettions.
We reserved a room with a bathroom for someone who has mobile difficulties. We made this reservation by error, but we did not mind. What we did mind was that the shower had a curtain that was 2 feet short, and the entire tile floor would get flooded when taking a shower making it very treacherous to walk out of the shower without slipping, forcing us to use towels to dry it out immediately after the shower. We did mention this to the attendant when we left.

Location was great. Staff were helpful.
The lift to our floor was out of order. It was quite a hassle to have to lug heavy luggage up a flight of stairs. Hope it's not a usual occurrence.
