Wonderful
£18.50 for breakfast is far too high for my liking. There was a vast range or foods available but just not enough to warrant the cost, in my opinion.

It was nice an quiet within the room
Was very expensive for snacks and drinks. There were no robes in the room so were unable to use pool and gym facilities! Toilets flooded on ground floor and no wet floor sign or out of order up

Lovely size room ,comfortable bed. Lovely Food and great service. Good to gave a fridge in the bedroom. Staff were very friendly and first class in the restaurant.
My room wasn't serviced. Didn't like that you had to ask for toilet rolls and tea /Coffee. It's the only Marriott I have stayed in were your room isn't checked daily. I was in the Highlands on Sunday and couldn't believe when I got back no-one had emptied my bins and checked my room as I had checked in on Thursday. After calling reception x2 ,someone did come and give me toilet rolls and refilled my hand soap eventually. When I checked out on Tuesday my bin was overflowing. The hotel needs more cleaners. Bathroom was incredibly small ,considering it was supposed to be a Deluxe Double.

The location
We reached early, they didn't allow us early check-in , fair enough but when we checked in the bed was not made properly, tried calling reception not working cam back to reception, room changed , bed was fine now bathroom exhaust not working. Tv turned off randomly. We simply gave up and stayed in the same room. Tried to enjoy the spa - sorry it's not available. And the list goes on.

The gym was okay, other than that nothing more.
TV wasn’t smart and had no options other than standard television channels. The shower was tight and had no space to move. The shower screen kept swinging back in on me also. The Middle Eastern night manager was rude and forced us to our room to eat our ordered food as he said we couldn’t eat outside food in seating area of hotel (even though their kitchen was shut). The opened the bar until 2am however not for guests of the hotel. The “room service” never showed to make our bed once or remove any glasses from the room. The location was so a little far for my liking from the centre and the cost of the hotel for what we received was seriously over priced.

Bed was so to hard hardly slept because of it, the cover you get it’s basically just a bed sheet in and cover sheet, sofa bed wasn’t ready had no sheets cover or pillows, also travel cot wasn’t isn’t there even tho I requested for one to be in and they said they would,

It was ideal for what we needed and parking and breakfast inc was lovely. We had some late food at the restaurant at the hotel too on the evening with kids - good selection, polite staff. We didn’t have time to use the pool but would have loved a little look. Staff were very polite & welcoming. The room was big. Water stations around the hotel too.
We only had one pillow per person on the beds without any spares in the wardrobe - which is a minor negative and I’m sure if we had have asked for more we may well have been given some… usually there are bed cushions but there was none as even one of those may have been ok too

The breakfast was great
The cleanliness of the rooms, everything is pretty old and can do with a refurbishment, the communication of the staff and how we had to ask multiple times for our room to be cleaned after 4 nights of stay, eventually having to speak to a supervisor who managed to arrange this.
