It was a nice warm and cosy room to return to at the end of a cold day exploring the city, with a much-needed bath tub.
Despite room service being advertised and even the room’s telephone having a room service call button, there was no room service available. If the hotel was unable to provide room service then such service should not be advertised in the hotel room. Also, a lack of room service was inconvenient for evenings where I just needed a small meal which I had to get from a local shop instead. On the first morning the shower nozzle was not producing much water and so this needed to be fixed. It would have been nice if the room’s facilities had been tested before my arrival.

Very good location. Breakfast was good. Bed was fine and the room was a good size.
The window in the room was a bit moldy, the curtain was not very well. The shower was very slow running. But these things considering, I would still come again.

Location was just a 10 minute walk from the centre. Friendly staff.
My mum had a pair of earrings stolen during our stay. The hotel undertook their investigation but didn't find anything. The earrings belonged to her late mother and although valuables should be left out, you should be able to trust that your personal possessions are safe when staying for a few days.
