Beautiful property with incredible views of the castle.
Lots of steps up to the apartment so not ideal for luggage and those with limited mobility. Bathrooms could do with a bit of an upgrade.

Very central location and extremely comfortable; warm, clean and well equipped. Great for shopping and sightseeing, great access to buses and taxis. Stunning view of the Castle.
A shelf in the shower for soap and shampoo and a plug near a mirror would be handy. As it is in the centre of the city, noise at night can be a bit annoying.

Beautiful interiors. Prime location.
Check-in process. Lack of communication/help for finding the property or drop box self check-in system (which was new to us). Lack of flexibility for early check-in or late check-out. Stairs - especially with luggage, and for elderly!

Beautiful classic architecture, but with modern kitchen and bathrooms. Great location, walkable to everything. Fantastic view of the castle from the living room and master bedroom. Lots to do in the immediate vicinity.

Excellent location with beautiful views of the castle and minutes from Princes street. Huge apartment tastefully decorated with lots of open space, plenty of natural light and nice sized bathrooms. Really comfortable beds and good quality towels. Accessing the lockbox is very easy.
The apartment has a requirement that the lead guest is at least 30 years old when you do an id check. This wasn’t an issue for us thankfully but I had not seen this anywhere when booking. When doing the checks the day before that could have affected our stay despite having it booked for months and nothing been said.

Very Good
The apartment was nicely decorated and had spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds. Gorgeous view of Edinburgh Castle from the living room and main bedroom. The kitchen was nicely stocked with dinnerware, tea kettle etc if one preferred to dine in. Location was fairly convenient to the Royal Mile and New Town; grocery store and the Lyceum Theater are close by.
Outside of the beautiful view of Edinburgh Castle, there was really nothing special about the apartment. It was pricey and lacked any personal touch— e.g no welcome bottles of water, snacks or local area recommendations. The carpets in the rooms were a bit tired and have seen better days and there was no place to put your toiletries in the bathrooms, which was a bit annoying. Also, take note that you have to climb two long flights of stairs to get to the apartment. The £500 deposit required for the stay took a week to get refunded — not really sure why a deposit was even necessary. Overall, we expected more for the price and were left a little disappointed.
