We were greeted by Ana at the desk and she continued to be most helpful during our stay. The location was ideal for us in outer Edinburgh but pivotal to where we wanted to visit. The room was spacious and very comfortable.

It was a very nice, beautiful location and rooms were spacious. .
Quite a lot of noise from neighbours, so soundproofing would be great
And staff were sometimes difficult to find, but they were very nice.

I liked the location. Staff were friendly and breakfast was v nice.
You can get a bus into the city just around the corner which is ideal.
There is a nice path to walk directly from the hotel if you want some fresh air.
The rooms were a little tired. I had a room with an adjoining door, and I could hear the people in the next door room easily. Luckily they were not noisy and went to bed at a reasonable time otherwise it might have been worse!

in quiet residential area, next to a wooded park, close to the airport
the food is not especially good, unfortunately - the menu items are probably fine, and the buffet breakfast was good. But for our buffet-style conference lunches, the food quality was quite poor (dried out, previously frozen, unlabelled, no special attention).

Room was clean, bed was a good size and comfy
The windows did not open wide enough on a hot evening to relieve the heat and stuffiness. Shards of glass were on the floor in the bathroom. The evening restaurant was very restricted seating wise.
