Great room with a view of the castle.
Room had good facilities and a great tv screen for watching the Euros!
This was aquite a late booking due to unexpectedly needing to change a booking at another hotel. So pleased I did the location and hotel facilities suited our needs very well.

I booked a double room and the pictures that was showing several things that were not there when we were allocated the room. There was no view, bad smell in the room and it looked depressive. One day even the room was not cleaned.

The property is clean & the service is excellent. Location is amazing.

Although the pictures promised that we would get a castle view while booking.

Helpful Staff and Convenient Location
The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore the city. The cookies on arrival were a thoughtful and welcoming touch. The bar staff were especially friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Reception staff were also very helpful, assisting with luggage storage both before check-in and after check-out, which made our experience much smoother.
Disappointing “King Deluxe” Stay – Not Worth the Extra Cost.
We booked the King Deluxe room expecting a more luxurious experience, but it fell short in multiple ways. The room layout was long and narrow, making it feel cramped rather than premium. The en-suite featured a small bath with a shower curtain and an awkwardly placed wall handle that was hard to avoid when showering. Basic amenities were missing—there wasn’t even a toilet brush.
One of the windows was missing a handle and showed visible screw holes from something previously attached. The castle view, though very nice, could only be seen by standing close to the dormer window, limiting its appeal.
The air-conditioning switched off during the night, leaving the room uncomfortably warm during unusually hot weather. Breakfast wasn't much better—the coffee machine was out of service. Our arrival was also less welcoming than hoped; the receptionist asked us to wait while she finished another task, which took several minutes.
Noise was an issue on both nights—first from loud voices in the hallway in the early hours, and then from a nearby room on the second night. All in all, we expected more comfort and attention to detail for the higher price point.

The staff were very courteous and kind and accommodating.
The hotel wasn’t clean. When I walked in the room, there was still hair on the floor and on the sink. The body wash bottle was empty. The sheets also weren’t not as clean. We only stayed one night so not worth the complaint but they need to do better with their cleanliness, or lack of.
