The staff was lovely and helpful. The breakfast was rather good and the location was very good.
The room was small. Very hard to get into the shower unless you've got long legs I think it was actually a bit dangerous. You could use another hook to two yo hand your wet towels.

Terrific location, car park 400yds away (£35 /day). Room clean and tidy, everything worked well, towels, toiletries, linen, bed all high quality (relative to other Scottish hotels during my trip). Breakfast was decent too. I'd stay here again for sure.

Got to the property, there were bugs in the bed. 10 minutes after we checked in we went down to tell them of the situation and said we weren't staying. They did try to offer another room but we were not comfortable staying after what we found. Later that day I received an email saying we would get a full refund. This was in February 2025 and we still have not received any refund.

The breakfast buffet had limited choices, there was a strange smell in the room reminiscent of mathballs, and the cleaning service did not empty the trash cans.

The location was lovely but the room was unfortunately disappointing, especially considering the price. Also not very clean and it had quite a bad smell.

The hotel is in a great part of Edinburgh, close to everything. The building is beautiful and historic. The room we stayed in was modern and clean with great street views. Really friendly staff, very helpful.

Nothing that stands out. Distinctly average.
Check was an hour late i.e 16:00 as room was not ready. Coffee/milk not replenished.
Room was very noisy re traffic. No double glazing.
Hotel was looking tired and needs a refurbishment.
Very expensive for what we actually received.
Hilton need to up their game on this establishment.

The location was excellent—just a short walk to the castle, museums, and popular restaurants. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. I also appreciated the warm cookie at check-in!
The breakfast selection was slightly limited compared to expectations, and the room temperature was a bit difficult to adjust. The parking situation was also a bit unclear at arrival.
