The location was lovely but the room was unfortunately disappointing, especially considering the price. Also not very clean and it had quite a bad smell.

The hotel is in a great part of Edinburgh, close to everything. The building is beautiful and historic. The room we stayed in was modern and clean with great street views. Really friendly staff, very helpful.

Nothing that stands out. Distinctly average.
Check was an hour late i.e 16:00 as room was not ready. Coffee/milk not replenished.
Room was very noisy re traffic. No double glazing.
Hotel was looking tired and needs a refurbishment.
Very expensive for what we actually received.
Hilton need to up their game on this establishment.

The location was excellent—just a short walk to the castle, museums, and popular restaurants. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. I also appreciated the warm cookie at check-in!
The breakfast selection was slightly limited compared to expectations, and the room temperature was a bit difficult to adjust. The parking situation was also a bit unclear at arrival.

The king bed was large and it was very close to where we needed to get picked up for our isle of Skye tour with timber bush.
Staff was awful. Very unfriendly, except Bailey was nice on the phone. I felt like we were an inconvenience- anything we asked or needed was a bother - rooms smelled musty. Old. Like just painted over from people that used to smoke cigarettes. My allergies were terrible. Rooms are sad and dark.

Location is very good and staff very friendly.
We had a roof with technical instruments in front of our windows/balcony doors, thus they had locked it and we could not even open for fresh air, bathroom also no window and slightly smelly. Room doors not well insolated, you hear everyone passing by. No Wifi in the room unless you sign up for Hilton Honors. Breakfast very basic.

Location excellent for National Conference Centre and Princes St.
Room temperature good and welcome cookies a lovely touch.
Lots of choice at breakfast. A variety of fruit pastries and yoghurt.
Reception staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.
Pillows a little soft but OK.
Main problem was the cooked breakfast. Items in food warmers were at best lukewarm and scrambled eggs cold and watery.
Asked for a couple of poached eggs. They were hot but well undercooked and watery.
Mentioned this to reception as I felt sick after eating a couple of mouthfuls. This was particularly unfortunate as I was at a conference that day. A reduction in cost would have been appreciated.
