Location
Rooms are tired and need updated. Woodwork on toilet door broken and shower had black mould. Curtains were stained. Towels need changed as old and rough.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Raul, at the breakfast service, and the manager, Obu, specially! The room was comfortable and warm.
The TV doesnt have streaming services or internet access, and the local channels are dreadful. Made getting settled down and putting all kids to bed in the evenings a little bit challenging. Food at breakfast could be a little bit more diverse, but overall nice.

The location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk to the royal mile and princes street. Breakfast is good and staff is friendly.
The room was somewhat smelly and not clean. Like the smell of moist and if someone smoked a lot. It felt off. Stains all over the walls, bathroom was due for an overhaul and not really clean. The tv was located at the end of the bed. A massive tv but the signal quality was bad. Like if you’re watching low resolution movies.

Perfect location near castle & grass market. Lots going on & great places to eat & drink. Nice touch from the hotel was fresh fruit in the room on arrival.
Some traffic noise during the night in our room which was at the front of the hotel but for the price & standard of the room no issues.

Good location, very central. We had a dog with us and it was never an issue, staff all very nice. Would recommend the fully loaded omelette for breakfast.
Parking was a bit of a faff and expensive. No parking attached to hotel it was with a third party. In fairness it was safe and the discount wasn't the worst.
