Room was good, location was excellent.
I'm a Hilton Honors member and normally this is picked up on when checking in even if I've made the booking with Booking.com, however it wasn't this time. We had dinner in the restaurant booked and had to wait for quite a while at the front until taken to our table. There was a member of staff going around the restaurant and it would have taken two seconds for her to say to us that someone would be with us shortly but she ignored us and the others waiting in the queue. When we were sat down we were told the kitchen was going to close and we needed to order in the next ten minutes, which wouldn't have been the case if we'd been seated when we arrived for our prebooked table. Food was ok, the server who gave us our bill was excellent as they had a staff change while we were eating. We would normally have had drinks in the bar after our meal but decided to go elsewhere as the initial service had been so poor. We'd also not paid for breakfast upfront (it used to be Hilton included breakfast in the room rate and I wish they'd go back to doing this) and had contemplated booking it once we arrived but after the dinner we had, again we decided we'd go elsewhere. Not the best Hilton stay I've had, the service wasn't up to par with what I would normally expect. I have a work event in a couple of months at this hotel and I think I'll organise a taxi back rather than book a room.

Massive comfy bed, lovely room, shower, toiletries. Close to the airport. Lovely views. Enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant.
We were told we couldn't get a seat next to the window. The guy we asked said it would mess with the system. A two seat table next to the window sat empty the whole time we were there in the restaurant between 5.30 and 7.30. Think he was a little stuck in his ways. We didn't object but letting us move to a window seat would have been good, given one was empty for a few hours.

Beautiful hotel, very welcoming.
Loved our welcome cookies, beautiful breakfast with everything on the buffet.
Bed was so comfy, bedding and pillows sunk us in to it was perfect!

Lovely big room. Very comfortable. Quiet at night.
Several of the lights weren’t working (for example the reading light beside the bed). And it was expensive considering it’s some distance out of the city.

The property is a spacious hotel just outside Edinburgh.It is clean and quiet with the most amazing views from full length windows.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful,making this 2night stay a really wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Outside space that we came across but this didn’t detract from a wonderful stay.

My room had the most spectacular view of all three bridges over the Forth. I was pleasantly surprised by the look of the hotel and I thoroughly enjoyed my long weekend there.
I don't like buffet breakfasts, but what was available was good, and you have a beautiful view to enjoy while eating.
