Great hotel near the airport. This was my second time staying here, and it did not disappoint. The rooms are spacious, the restaurant has solid vegan options, and every staff member we interacted with was genuinely lovely.
After several long days hiking in the Highlands, it was wonderful to return the car and truly relax for a bit. Because of our flight times, we chose to stay near the airport and Uber into the city for our day in Edinburgh, and it was absolutely the right decision. Convenient, stress free, and easy.
Another big bonus is the location. It is directly across the street from the car rental place, making drop off and check-in a quick and easy walk.
Room service deserves a special mention. The gentleman who delivered our dinner was hilarious and so friendly. We ended up chatting for a while, and he even shared his excitement about an upcoming trip to Japan with his girlfriend. That kind of warmth and personality really stood out.
Highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

The breakfast buffet was very good. Loved all the selections given, and being able to take care of my coffee also was a plus instead of having to wait for refills.
Also, being able to return our rental car and literally cross the street to the hotel, was so convenient.
One of the employees that was working in the restaurant must've been having a couple rough days, as he seemed easily offended about the simplest things - like we'd just received our menus and he seemed put out that we weren't ready to order after just a minute or two.

We arrived a little late and we wanted to grab a bite in the restaurant. It was one of those nights when all hands were on deck to take care of hungry travelers. I used to work in the hotel industry and know when the restaurant fills up unexpectedly how things can go wrong very quickly. The staff handled it seamlessly. The food came out hot, and quickly, and the diners seemed very happy. So, congratulations to ALL staff members. You came together and got things done. Also, the shuttle was right on time at 3 am, so we had no worries about making a 6 am flight back to the States.
No complaints here.

The hotel has a good reputation and is part of the well-known Hilton group. The location near Edinburgh Airport is convenient, and the facilities were generally clean and well-maintained.
Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the lack of assistance from the staff. I was traveling with a person of determination and a child, carrying several bags, and when I asked for help, I was told to “use the trolley and move them together.” I understand that I can handle my luggage, but I expected more empathy and humanity from a Hilton-managed hotel. The response was unprofessional and not in line with the hospitality standards I associate with DoubleTree.
