Exceptional
The Edinburgh Airport Hilton Hotel was excellent. All of the staff from front desk, restaurant, bar, room cleaning and management were lovely, competent, friendly and efficient. We had delicious meals from the well thought out menu delivered to our room. The breakfast area was quiet and the service good. A well appointed fitness centre offered a wide range of well maintained equipment.

My daughter enjoyed her free cookie.
The Bathroom bin hadn't been emptied from previous occupants and towels was dirty. Took along time to find out information. My daughter would have preferred a paper copy with written instructions on how to access information. She hadn't been asked for card details on check, then had an intimidating letter under door re room service payment.

Exorbitant price for an ordinary room, limited amenities. Not even a bottle of water. I don't think a chocolate chip cookie can compensate for the expense.

The hotel is very noisy. we could hear the doors being slammed all the time. We could hardly get any sleep. Moreover, we were charged more than we have agreed and seen on booking.com

I booked a room for four, two double beds and the room felt quite small for that many people. Would have been nice to have a slightly bigger room.
