Toilet was too close to the sink in the bathroom.
For someone who is 6ft7" I struggled to sit on the toilet without my left leg clashing with the sink.

I have already submitted this but you have not responded, so I repeat:
My wife and I booked the DoubleTree by Hilton at Edinburgh Airport for one night, 24/25 May. We let the hotel know our time of arrival but when we arrived at the hotel it was full! We had paid you € 308.17 but had nowhere to sleep. All the other hotels in the area were also full We had to stay in the hotel lounge until someone checked out for an early flight and we were able to take the room. By this time it was almost 4 in the morning and I had a 3 hour drive ahead of me that same morning. This is totally unacceptable so I must ask you for a refund. Please respond quickly

Breakfast was quite nice although ran out of bacon when I was there and I didn’t have time to wait for refill. Takes a little time to get a hot drink if it’s busy
The cost - exploitation because of the highland show. I also don’t appreciate a service charge being applied to dinner without asking

I liked how close it was to the airport
The front desk staff were not the nicest and were a bit short when answering our questions. Also the bathroom in our room was dirty. The caulk has mold and the floor needed to be mopped.

The staff om reception were professional and friendly. We were able to check in early and our room had been upgraded.
We had the best table in the restaurant for dinner and the staff were all very attentive. Both of the meals we ordered were delicious!
For the price of the room, I would have expected complimentary bottles of water

The staff were great
Grossly over-priced for a view of the car park and being forced to choose between 5.30 of 'after 8' for dinner. Quite the shabbiest Doubletree I have ever stayed in. And I am just about to tackle the overcharging for the uninspiring and over-priced meal.

Wonderful
I stayed here for a 1 night. It was close to the airport less than 10 mins walk. I actually walked to the airport couple of times to grab a meal or coffee from there as I didnt have meals in the hotel other than the breakfast. Room was clean and spacious. I also worked from the room using the free wifi and it worked perfectly. I used the gym in the evening which was quite good. It had all the machines and weights you need, so big thumbs up! The bathroom in the room was big and clean. They also provided all the required creams and lotions in the bathroom which I liked. Bed was big and comfy and had a good night's sleep.
After checking out, my flight was in the evening so I stayed in the hotel and continued working in the lobby area. The staff was really friendly and stored my bags downstairs. There was plenty of space for me to use my laptop. I had a good trip and happy I stayed here.
The breakfast was not bad, but not too great either as there was not much choice, but still I enjoyed it.
