We were disappointed that there wasn't any outdoor seating as it was a nice sunny day... we therefore spent the day over at moxy hotel across road as they had a outdoor area..

This is a low end hotel so nothing to like . Definitely not what I am used to having travelled globally of this type of hotel . Vastly over priced given the asking price .

Nice modern hotel on the airport site.
Free transfer to the airport.
All facilities you require.
Room was dark with no overhead main lighting.
Food far too expensive for what is was. Ceaser salad £13.50 and an additional £10 to add chicken!
Then later see on the bill they have added a £3.50 service charge!!

Wonderful
I have stayed here often when I come to Scotland. I often come in on a later flight in and go to the hotel to sleep and decompress before starting my trip the next day. The rooms are good size, the staff very helpful and I like the restaurant. And it is literally right next to the airport-you can walk to the hotel from the airport, walk back to the Edinburgh Tram, and the car rental return is right there. I haven't had a bad stay so far.

Location for showground, trams and buses.
The waiter in the restaurant was excellent. Unfortunately i cannot recall his name but he was from Bulgaria.
3 of 4 rooms were not available at 3 pm check in time. Two rooms were not available until 4.15. This was very disappointing when we had been travelling since 4am in the morning. We were given a free drink when i kept asking for an update. This was a nice gesture but the rooms should have been ready. Also my husband unfolded one of the fresh provided towels and found grease marks stains all over it. I photographed this and reported to reception. The shower flooded on day one as the plug was blocked. This was rectified after reporting it.

The welcoming, helpful staff and of course the welcome cookie. The shuttle bus service.
Sadly I had asked ahead of time for a rubber shower mat as I’m on crutches and was told it would be added but found it wasn’t in the room on arrival however when I spoke to reception it was sent up to me straightaway.
Also when I had my shower there was no soap left it the dispenser and considering I was struggling on crutches it wasn’t ideal otherwise I’d have just used the sink soap dispenser. Also the shampoo and conditioner dispensers were also very low.
Found a few crumbs on the bedside table.

Proximity to the airport and the Staff were all top shelf!
The shower was not cleaned and the shower drain was plugged so a very quick rinse off was needed.Also, it appeared the shower door sealant failed and water leaked at the wall to the floor. A little bleach or cleaning solution goes a long way!
