The only thing we liked about the property was the location convenient to airport and beautiful setting
The rooms are old, tired, and don’t feel clean - we found mold in the shower, a big spider crawling around the floor, bathroom door handle broken, tub not draining, thin walls to hear every word of the next room’s conversation, and saggy uncomfortable mattress. The kind, cheerful people we encountered across Scotland were nowhere to be found among the hotel staff - they were not very friendly, except for the person who checked us out. Dinner and breakfast were just ok. The building is very confusing with long, complicated walk to our room - difficult for people with mobility issues. We chose this because they market themselves as a luxury property and we wanted to have a nice last night in Scotland, but left thinking we should have saved money and stayed at any random airport hotel.

Beautifully located. Lovely golf courses attached.,
First day breakfast. We were mage to wait over 15 minutes for breakfast - it took an age before there was any leadership intervention.

We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a junior suite which was very spacious, exceeding expectations. The very large bed was also very comfortable and other facilities in the room were excellent. Parkin was ample and the grounds were nice to walk round. It was easy to drive a few minutes down to the park and ride to get one of the frequent buses into Edinburgh. Staff were helpful.
The breakfast room was a little small for the number of guests. When it is busy it can be a bit difficult to move around and one morning we had to wait a few minutes for a table to become available. However this did not inconvenience us and we found the staff prompt and helpful when we asked for extra coffee or an item off the bespoke breakfast menu.

Food was basic: dinner was over salty and breakfast was the basic buffet.
Overpriced stay.
Deluxe room is the same as a regular Premier Inn , but double the price.
