Excellent stay, didn’t have the breakfasts but saw it was a good choice.
Only thing is that it can be quite noisy which is usually common within a hotel.

This was our first visit to Edinburgh, and we were there celebrating my husbands 70th birthday. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was so lovely and was really central to everywhere we wanted to visit. I would highly recommend a visit and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the staff for making our visit so special.

Location is perfect, facing a park and quiet, but a close walk in either direction to restaurants, shops, buses, etc.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful when we had an issue regarding our allocated room. Amazing location right in the heart of pubs restaurants and entertainment,yet the hotel is set in a nice quiet area .
The room that we were allocated was small no daylight in the room and a view of a dirty black wall.Outside our room door was where the cleaning carts were stored with mops and buckets a very unsightly and disappointing welcome .

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location, very near the hustle and bustle but tucked away on a peaceful street. The bar area is very nice.
Amenities in the room could be a bit better such as a suitable plug for charging your phone near the bed, bathroom supplies such as a shower cap, cotton wool pads etc.

I felt safe there. The people were so kind. Many people that worked there became my friends. I look forward to staying in touch them. While in Scotland it became my home base. It was close to the centre but off from the main tourist areas. You could have a quiet night in or go out close by. It was closed to St. James Square mall and off Princes Street which is the main part of the new city with plenty of boutiques, restaurants and bars. It is also close to the Royal Mile. Calden Hill is down the street and the top has the great views of the city. It’s also close to the train station.
The menu could be expanded a little.

The breakfast was very good, the hotel looked very clean and well presented
I have to say the hotel was great in every way and my room was clean and had good amenities. But the bed was probably the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on
