Very Poor
Hotel is beautiful. Outside area is heated to sit and people watch. Staff were amazing always ready with a smile and a hello. Breakfast was to die for; freshly cooked, tasty and plentiful. Bar is lovely and a real nice area to sit and relax. Overall a real nice hotel with lovely staff. Although major problems with room I would stay again hoping to stay again December for Christmas markets as it’s so close to Princess Street.
Bedroom was filthy, what looked like bodily fluids on carpet and chair, gross! Kettle and tea/coffee making facilities unclean. Finger prints were n glass door in bathroom, bathroom mould in shower, urine marks on wall in bathroom. I have liased with hotel but they have assumed I would accept their updated refund without asking, that’s not good customer relations. I think photos speak for themselves. Hotel did advise updated on cleaning checks implemented, so really hoping it was a one off.

Location, particularly close to tram stop and to shopping centre, and not too far to walk ti Princes Street and city centre.
We were in a room with connecting doors. Tere was a family with young children next door and the noise was a bit much. It did quiten down after 11pm but started again after 7am. Can I suggesr some sort of noise suppression between connecting rooms if they are not being used as such.

When we arrived at the hotel we were given a room on the 3rd floor which really wasn't the best. It was below ground level, very dark and no phone signal. We complained so the receptionist changed us to a room on the 6 th floor which was
so much better.

Great location and facilities. Parking was really easy and straightforward to navigate in and out of Edinburgh to.
