Staff were wonderful - very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Very difficult to access with luggage from a car. Nowhere to pull-in on road at front or rear to drop off luggage and passengers. Room was small, especially with a king size bed.

We visited this past weekend as a first getaway together, and the hotel went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect! Our hotel room got upgraded as we stayed for an anniversary, and they provided a cute little card and some fudge as a gift. The staff were incredibly helpful with recommending places to visit, and restaurants to eat at. I would highly recommend, and will book again on our inevitable trip back to Edinburgh. Thank you!

The heating in the room didn't work (late November in Scotland) after telling us 3 times how to turn it on eventually someone came to the room & maintenance fixed it whilst we were out.
Two huge (unusable) pillows for each bed made our first night very uncomfortable, alternatives were found for the next night...better.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. Paid parking is nearby and bars, restaurants, theatre and shopping are on the doorstep. The staff were all very friendly especially in the lounge bar. We felt welcome and relaxed
Check in felt like their was a problem from the off. Furrowed brow and lots of computer clicking followed by a quick visit to what I assume was the manager. "Good news we have your room" was the surprising comment.
The room, which wasn't a lower priced one, was dirty. Stains were on the carpet, walls and ceiling. The door security lock didn't work. The shower head would not lock into position and had to be held to shower. Paint was flaking off the bathroom ceiling.
