Location was the best thing.
Bar staff were brilliant.
Where shall I start
Requested a bottle of wine as a surprise for arrival which wasn't done.
Bed had a saggy mattress.
Only one chair in a twin room - why?
Reception staff looked like they couldn't be bothered.

Cosy room (778), nice style and clean.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
Fantastic location - very close to the city centre and also to the tram which was helpful getting to and from the airport.
Some small points we noticed:
The curtains had a paint stain on them.
The pillows had ink blotches on them,
The shower water heat was intermittent - it did not maintain a consistent temperature throughout use.

Everything. This hotel is such a surprise and good value. I will gladly stay here again. Bar staff is amazing. Breakfast is really good. Decor is nice. It doesn’t feel like a Marriott. Really well done.
The elevators are a bit slow and you have to use them since the hotel is built into a steep hill.

The property was nice and clean. I liked sitting in the lounge off the bar in the evening to go through my emails pictures, etc..
I expected my room to be a little bit nicer from viewing the website prior to booking. The first room they put me in was horrible, and I felt that I paid a lot of money for six nights, and the girl who helped me was gracious enough to change my room. It was better. I just thought it would’ve been a little more upscale.

Front desk not very welcoming. Request for room cleaning ignored. No communication about fire alarm which sounded for a couple of minutes, was it real or a drill? I checked hotel home page, in-room tv screen, at least expected an sms. No communication in lobby either.
