Wonderful
Spacious, comfortable and clean room with a lovely view of Calton Hill. Location was excellent (walking distance from the railway station and city centre) and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The welcome was so friendly , the staff really helpful, the breakfast was excellent and the location was great ,lovely restaurants in the area. The tram from the airport stops outside the hotel , no need for taxis.

The location was perfect for walking around the city and discovering what Edinburgh has to offer. The building is historical and the room comfy.
A little dark, as there was no view, but it was comfortable.

The location of the hotel was excellent. It was very close the to tram stop, walking distance to the nearby mall. The bed was very comfortable, sheets were nice, pillows were just right.
The water pressure of the shower was weak in our room.

Our room had lots of marks on wall and carpet so didn’t feel like value for money as we paid just under £500 for two night expected standard of our room to be much higher for that amount of money

During my 11 nights stay I really found this hotel to be perfect, starting from the check in with the amazing staff till the check out everything was just perfect. The hotel is in a great location while still not suffering from the noise of the main street, new and very clean.

My room 373 was dark without much possibility of natural light. The window has a wall in front of it limiting natural light entry .

Comfortable beds
Bar for guests closed before 11pm and breakfast they turned off coffee machines early and were sweeping up under our feet by 10.35am. Felt unwelcome at breakfast like the staff did not want us there. Breakfast did not feel like a relaxed atmosphere. Staff average.

The location is excellent and exactly why we booked this hotel. All the main attractions are within walkable distance, especially the Calton Hill. It's very clean and comfortable. The staffs are very nice as well.
I wish the ventilation in the bathroom is better. Since the bathroom is glass partitioned, sound proof is not as good as I wish it could be.
