The location is very easy to navigate, the bus stop is nearby & the overall hotel is good.
Facilities and amenities are kind of limited, but in Europe standards I guess that's normal.

Room: Clean and spacious enough for 2 people. It was comfortable.
Breakfast: Enjoyed the spread they had for breakfast. They even had non-dairy milk options for coffee/teas, which I really appreciated. You have to ask the staff working the bar for it but the option is there.
Staff: The staff were really helpful and kind.
I'm not sure if this is common, but the shower pressure in our room was fairly low. Either that or we're just used to much stronger pressure showers.

Breakfast was awesome. Had haggis for the first time and was pleasantly surprised and pleased.
Variety of breakfast was pleasing.

My room was huge....however...
The food in the restaurant was good....however...
They gave me a room for a handicapped person, , and I'm not handicapped. The most inconvenient thing was the height of the sink, way too low.
Also, the service was very slow, and inconsiderate in their restaurant.

I personally like how quiet the area is since it’s away from the city center and that it is surrounded by a lot of trees. The bedrooms are quite comfortable and spacious but would have appreciated it more if it was equipped with a smart TV that could let us watch YouTube/Netflix.
The bathroom glass door doesn’t offer full privacy and you could see whoever is using inside through that slit. And seeing that it is a modern property, I think the toilets should be equipped with bidet sprays/shattafs which would be a lot more convenient for us who are used to cleaning ourselves with water.

Clean quiet, good breakfast, and responsive to request for more blankets when I got chilled from being caught in the rain.
Buses are not direct to sights with a mile or more walks between connecting buses, a bit far from sights, and typically chain hotel except the breakfast buffet was a bit better than expected.. It was a bit remote.

Location was super convenient for us. Staff were all great.
Shower had terrible water pressure. Bed was uncomfortable and linens were scratchy. There was a device on the wall right next to the bed with a bright green light on it that made it hard for us to sleep. Checkout is 12 but we had someone knocking on our door at 11:52 (we were all packed up, just staying as long as we could before our travel day). I also picked up a bug from this hotel. I work in the field of infectious disease so I'm extremely careful with surfaces and airspaces when I travel. There was no way to open the window in these rooms for fresh air and I walked into this building perfectly healthy and walked out with a respiratory bug. Had spent the entire two days prior in the car with no outside interactions so it makes me wonder about the air filtration system at this facility. Or perhaps they are not changing pillows out and someone in this room before us was ill. Overall this was the most expensive and least comfortable stay of our entire visit to Scotland, and our departing gift for the next leg of our honeymoon was a respiratory bug.

The location the quietness of place, it was easy for us to travel to other destinations inside the country without dealing with the traffic congestion in the city center.
The room cleaning was below average, they refilled the hand wash with water only which was really unacceptable at all.
