We had a lovely stay! The rooms are comfortable and clean. The bathrooms right in the room for easy access. The indoor decor was beautiful with a great staircase. The service was friendly and accommodating. When they found out it was our honeymoon, we came back to a bottle of wine and shortbread cookies! We highly recommend Grangeview!!

Our room was spotlessly clean and we were greeted with a generous welcome package with some snacks. The guest house is located in a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood. Free parking was a plus and worked out really well for us since we had rented a car for a roadtrip to the highlands. Another bonus - mini fridge!
Nitpicking here but it would’ve been nice to have a ceiling fan or even a table fan. But we enjoyed all other modern amenities at the property!

Very efficient (midday check-in!) and well-run guest house, very clean, very friendly, in a nice area. We left a jacket behind and the guest house was super speedy in returning it - many thanks!
Nothing. Breakfast is a bit limited, as we were told, but there are a couple of lovely cafes nearby.

The staff was super friendly and gave us bags nearly every night with breakfast goodies. They were also very attentive with questions and concerns. Very sweet. I also loved the quieter area! Also loved the kitchenette
I wasn't sure how to tell but if I knew ahead of time I would have tried to request a room on the lower levels since we had a older family member with us and we didn't know about the stairs ha. But that might just be a mistake on my part. Everything else was perfect.

The property is gorgeous! It has the original historic architecture but the interior has been modernized. They kept the charm of the original design but added modern comforts.

The location was perfect, right by multiple bus stops and in a quaint neighborhood that felt like home. Staff exceeded expectations and made sure we had everything we needed. Room was large but comfortable and so cute.
Our only complaint was the close proximity of the toilet to the bathroom door. Totally not a big deal, but that's the only complaint we could think of!

My friend and I stayed at Grangeview for three nights while visiting Edinburgh, and it was amazing! We had the junior suite and absolutely loved it – super cute, very clean, and cozy. Each morning we received a lovely breakfast bag from the owners, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The location was perfect with a bus stop right around the corner– only about 10 minutes into the city. The owners were incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Absolutely recommend this place. The location, comfort, cleanliness, small breakfast - everything was exactly to provide our comfortable stay. We never met the owners or staff, but they obviously do their job well. The place is located in a nice quiet area with lots of buses going to the centre.
