The staff went out of their way to make my 10 days in Edinburgh the very best! I would highly recommend staying there because of the staff but also because it's centrally located to so many of the sites... Especially if you like the real Edinburgh behind the tourist sites.

Best location ever. Just across the street from the airport bus, city buses and tram. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Not far from the main attractions such as the castle and the Grassmarket.
Very comfy bed. Room is quite tidy but okay for a couple.
Shower, although with the right pressure and temperature, is quite compact (not much larger than an UK phone booth) and kinda difficult to keep the shower head in place.

Room was tiny- barely room to get our suitcases in and nowhere to put them. Shower cubicle also tiny. Limited places to hang towels. Kettle too big to fill at sink.

The hotel is very well located and very clean. The service at the reception was excellent. In front of a supermarket and bus stop to the airport.
I couldn't find a power outlet near the head of the bed.

Staff were an absolute delight. Property is well situated, directly across from an airport bus drop of point.
Plenty of restaurants and pubs in the immediate area and staff happy to share their knowledge.

Hotel very central for wherever you wanted to go. Staff were so helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. They were brilliant.
Only one thing and it was very minor. Our door to room 202 could do with a little WD 40. Rather squeaky. As I said very minor.

- The Double room is small
- Tight space for clothes, no wardrobe
- Small bathroom: water from the shower spills out on the floor; no plugs inside the bathroom; only one space for towels, no hangers. Tight space for personal items. Small hand wash.
- The floor under the carpet was not in good conditions. Making noise while walking on it.
Hotel is more a 2*.

Wonderful
The location was outstanding, right in the heart of Edinburgh and very walkable to all sites and transport options. The staff was fantastic, everyone was genuinely helpful and friendly. The room was basic and very comfortable. Housekeeping was exceptional.
Edinburgh gets quite lively at night, so expect noise on the street. This is not controllable from the hotel, so I don't count that as a negative against the hotel. This hotel has no air conditioning, as Edinburgh's climate is not that hot.

Easy to get from/to Airport. Close to top attractions, but away from the old town’s crowds. Small room, but ok for a 2-3 day stay.
The carpet floors did not feel clean- from what I see the cleaning staff only folds the towels, makes up the bed and clean bathroom (which is more cruclal). It’s ok for a short stay, but I would’ve asked the carpet to be cleaned if I were to stay one more day.
