The location close to Princes Street and the tram line was very convenient and the staff were very pleasant.
Our room, although clean, was very dark and dismal with insufficient lighting. The only refreshments provided were tea and coffee, with no bottled water or biscuits and no drinking glasses. There was a water leak in our bathroom & the carpet was rucked up in the centre of the room which was a trip hazard ( I’m just recovering from a broken leg so this was more of a hazard than usual!) We reported these 2 issues to reception staff.

As it’s a central location the early mornings are a little noisy, not the accommodations fault just to note.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The location was very nice. The room was clean and comfortable.
The room was tiny! I realize there is no space in Edinburgh! The hotel made good use of available space, and it was just fine… just a surprise to be so small.

Excellent central location, friendly staff, big rooms, comfy beds and spacious showers and bathrooms. Stayed there for 5 nights in April 2026 and I only have positive feedback.

Great stay overall. The location was excellent and made it very convenient to get around. The hotel was very clean throughout, and the service was friendly, professional, and welcoming. The only small downside was that the rooms were slightly on the smaller side, but they were still comfortable and well maintained. I would happily stay again.
