Decent location. We picked this for a one night stay prior to flying out of Scotland after a three week stay.
Convenient to most parts of the city, bus and tram close by. Busy road, but that it the trade off for convenience. Staff were efficient.
The room was clean and comfortable
Staff were efficient but not overly friendly. That wasn't a major issue but it doesn't really motivate a return visit.
Whilst the rooms were clean inside, there was a lot of banging of doors. I suspect it had something to do with the service room being next door.

New renovated rooms, good firm beds.
Great location, very central
Due to the central location it is loud along the main road.
Parking is a challenge, road side parking is hardly available but a car park is near by.

Excellent location, staff was friendly and very accommodating. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Wished it had a towel warmer- for a traveler it can also be a clothes dryer.
Also some yogurt or fruit in their front cooler would have lovely

Location was perfect. Staff great.
Our room ran a bit hot- glad to have a fan. We’ve been spoiled in other hotels in Scotland that have heated towel racks. Overall, our stay was great

The position is great. Close to the public transport and the the main attractions. A lot of places to eat at walking distance.

Location is great. There is bus station front of hotel and you can come/go to airport from there easily. Receptionists are very polite.
Rooms are a bit little and the walls are thin.

The location couldn’t be better than this. Every Major attraction at 5-15 minutes walking distance. The staff were amazing. Very professional, courteous and helpful. The bus stop is literally at the doorstep of this hotel servicing buses in all directions. The property is surrounded by all kinds of restaurants, pubs, grocery and convenience stores. Specially for the first time visitors the bus from the airport drops off right at the front door of the hotel. This is a 24/7 bus service every 10 minutes. Unbelievably convenient. Hotel reception is accessible 24 hours. Strongly recommended for other travellers.

I was next to Housekeeping store and they started about 5.45am - slamming doors, chatter, lots of noise. Far too early in the morning for that. And reception staff couldn't have been more disinterested if they tried.

Edinburgh is so expensive (accommodation). Saying that, location was great. Walkable to everywhere as situated in the city centre. Clean room, good size.
Staff weren't very proactive or friendly when trying to get in at around 2300. Had to knock on the door to get their attention. Room wasn't even where the reception is - it's in another building around the corner. And for a sheraton hotel, no minibar or fridge or anything in the room and no food facilities onsite - not worth the 4 stars or sheraton name!
