Location was good, we were able to get into town easily.
There were multiple tiny spiders in the bed and we kept waking up with bites, the room smelled strongly of feet and it was really gross so we tried to keep the window open as much as possible, the sheets were not clean and smelled like men's cologne, the Carbon monoxide alarm went off all night, and a random man got into the building and was wandering around the second floor with no room. It was a lot more expensive than it should have been for that experience.

The bed was very bad
The room is very loud, the noise of the traffic comes through the window of the room. The windows should be changed. They are from the Victorian time. There is no isolation of the windows. And the windows are very old. The carpet was very dirty in my room.

My room was overhearted, you can't regulate the temperature.
The bathroom was nice and warm, overheated
Location is not the best, you'll always pay if you need to get back to the city center.

The rooms are facing a very loud Street, all day long it's very loud. You want be able to sleep properly. Big busses caming through your windows 24 hours , constantly. The carpet was very dirty in my room.

Location was good and sheets were clean.
Bathroom was tiny, grotty, and all the water facilities make extremely loud noises when in use as it is pump operated. It created a foul smell that lingered in the room even with the door closed. All the side tables are rattan on the top so you can't actually place anything on them as they will fall over, only a mug stays up just barely. When we arrived, the Ring Cam for the door was removed so we had to knock extremely loud for a while in the rain then, when we were let in, they didn't even say 'hello' they just tried to lead us down some steps to which we said "Is our room down there??" And we got a "yes." The main door and the room doors are controlled by pin codes so anyone can get in your room if they have the code which didn't feel safe, especially as there is no other lock on the inside. The free wifi was not provided so we had to go looking for the internet box and get the code ourselves, but because our room was literally underground the WiFi signal was terrible so we couldn't use it anyway. The pipes on the walls made loud ticking noises all night and the one TV in the room faces only the double bed in the far side of the room so the single bed gets nothing. The double bed was extremely squeaky metal and the decor was in a state; the wallpaper is mismatched, peeling, and painted over.

The check-in was easy and accessing the property was also faultless.
The room/building was quiet and the bed reasonably comfortable.
The main window (overlooking Minto Street) had a broken curtain pole and the curtain was hanging off, almost not shutting. The kettle had a cord too short to reach the socket from the shortest table and I had to put it on the ground. The tv had a European plug but no adaptor, so it could not be used. There was only one pillow (no spare). The unlit parking yard had nowhere to lock my bike on/to, and walking around it at night in pitch-blackness with my bike light was a daunting situation.

The room was big and confortable, and we had a private bathroom. It was warm in the room.
The location is very nice, reachable by very frequent buses in 10 minutes from the old town.
They were able to store our luggage after check out which was very appreciated.
The communication with the staff was not so easy. When we came back for our luggage, we had to wait for 30 minutes for the person to tell us where the storage room was.

The location is amazing, with a nearby bus stop.
You cannot check-in before, but there is a locker room.
The fridge is in the room.
Staff responses are so long, even in the hotel. I was waiting for 10min to get inside of the building.
It's a really old building as well as the rooms, and you feel it and see it every day.
The bed sheet was already used hundreds of times.
There is no A/C for hot days, you're dying from the noise from outside, as there is an active road outside the building.

Terrible experience. The window in my room was broken and could not be closed, and it was cold and noisy outside, so it was hard to sleep at night. also, since I was doing a business trip, I requested an invoice, and the people from the staff lied to me and ensured that they would give it to me, but instead, after I left, they decided to ignore me, both through booking and WhatsApp. I cannot recommend this place at all.

Staff were untrained - didn't provide us with proper instructions on how to gain access via the numerical key pad (as confirmed by the manager)

The location wasn’t bad; quiet, accessible, and enjoyable to walk around in.
The custom service could be significantly better. You pay for what you get, but at the same time there could be significant improvements. There is no concierge desk; you have to text the owner on Whatsapp. The check in instructions are never sent to you in advance. We got the information on how to check in once we knocked on the hotel door, and even then we had to wait for them. There was never any toilet paper, the shower drain was clogged, and it took us a full day to get fresh towels. The shared bathrooms are poorly listed on the website, so it was a surprise to us once we arrived.

Disappointing
The location was good, very close to the city center by bus and it was conveniently situated by a bus stop.
The facilities were subpar, and many things were broken/broke during our time here.
