Large but homely house.
Made to feel very welcome by Michael and Caroline. Even gave good advice with parking, as the car park was full.
Nice breakfast with lots of choice.
Large family style table for breakfast so got chance to chat with other guests. We were all going to same concert.
Beds very comfy and large beautifully kept garden. Opened the window, and Got to hear the sound check in Murrayfield , the night before, was so close.
Ideal walking distance.
No towels, but none stated on booking, I just didn’t read it properly. Easily solved as lots of local shops nearby.
Garden gate was difficult for me to lift as has a broken hinge, but hubby managed ok.

Great hosts, good location especially for the rugby stadium and a nice walk into the city centre.
Hadn’t realised the room I booked whilst having a private bathroom, the bathroom was down the hallway. Perhaps my fault for not checking the room details.

Breakfast was alright staff were friendly and welcoming.Bed comfortable pillows were huge and heavy.
The price especially for the cosy room was quite extortionate really. A proper mirror in the room would have been useful.

Room was cozy and not too small. The owners were very friendly and welcoming.
TV in the room was quite small and had no cable so did not pick up any channels.

Breakfast served on too small a plate with some sort of potato thing that tasted like cardboard.

Exceptional hosts. The second you walk in it feels welcoming and it feels like you are home. Great breakfast.The location is accessible by multiple buses routes and it takes you down town in no time. Lovely neighborhood.

The most horrific stay of my life. The host is racist, very aggressive and greedy. The property is not what they show on the booking.com
They write private bathroom but it’s not, it’s across the floor. They are showing jacuzzi bath tub but it’s not working. I had to change the hotel in just 3 hours.

1Great atmosphere, quite nice neighbourhood. Great easy walkway to reach the centre, about 20 minutes. Great cooked breakfast, friendly owners.
