Exceptional
The staff were great and I felt very welcome. The room was the perfect size for me. The location was fantastic, close to the tram for easy transportation to and from the Airport. It was also easy walking distance to Waverley Station, Royal Mile, and the top attractions in the city.
The floor in my room had a squeaky spot and it was the main place I found myself standing. I felt bad for the guest staying in the room below mine. Also I could see the WiFi signal in my room, but it was not strong enough for me to access it. I made a facetime call in the lobby, connected to the WiFi with no issues, and after that I was able to access the WiFi in my room.

Wonderful
The room was spacious with a big bed and comfortable bathroom. The location was tad too far from the center but still walkable and with plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby.

Location close to tram stop, shopping, restaurants and sightseeing spots. Breakfast was good.
Room was very tiny; it was hard to open suitcases without hauling them onto the bed. There were a lot of stairs in the building; didn't bother us but could impact others.

Property is good close to bus and tramp station.
What I didn’t like about the property was that there was no lift, which made it very difficult to carry our luggage. Our room was on the first floor, and it was quite a struggle to take all the bags up from the ground floor.

The location was excellent — quiet, yet very central. There’s a bus station just a minute away, which made getting around super easy, but the city center was also within walking distance (around 20 minutes). The room was clean and comfortable, the daily room service was perfect, and the staff were all really friendly. We also appreciated the small upgrade and the lovely view from our room.
The only small downside was that the windows were a bit difficult to open, which made it tricky to get fresh air at night.

Exceptional
I appreciated that the property was located on a quiet street within minutes of main access streets, enabling me to explore a variety of different areas of the city. The walk to the castle was easy (approx 30 minutes) with lots to see along the way. I was given an apartment room across the street, and although it was in the “basement” there was adequate window lighting and it was very quiet. The room had lovely amenities - fridge, water kettle, packet coffee and milk/sugar, breakfast biscuits and water bottles. Much appreciated! ?

The front desk staff were quite friendly and helpful
.The walls were paper thin and I could easily hear the conversation and TV in the next room. The breakfast Buffet was convenient but substandard.

Bed was fine. The location was good. The staff was helpful at the reception desk in helping us arrange taxi pickup for the airport.
We reserved a small double room, so we anticipated it would be fairly compact. However, there needs to be more space to move around the bed! My husband had to squeeze between the tv/wall and the foot of the bed, even using a hand to brace himself, to get into his sided of the bed. It was NOT as pictured in photo. There was NO place to put suitcases away from the bed or the chair next to the bed. The staff didn't pay attention to the smell of street reasphalting flowing into the hotel and into the open window to the room. The hotel couldn't control the street construction, but they should have closed the windows to the common areas and the guest rooms in anticipation of the smells.

The room was teeny tiny. Let me repeat: the room was teeny tiny. The room was very warm, thankfully we could open a window, and a fan was provided.

It was right off the tram line which made getting to and from the airport a breeze. We were able to comfortably walk to all major attractions and then come back to a comfortable room.

Wonderful
The room size is great, everything clean an neat. The staff was really efficient and helpful at all times. Breakfast is a good choice here, regarding the price and what the offer. The place is cute. I would recommend it.
It's a bit far away of the city center and the main "attractions". I felt safe at all times, even walking by myself at night.

Room was in the basement so no view, but maybe that is why it is quiet.
