Wonderful
Great location, beautiful design, comfortable bed and it’s very convenient to have access to free bottled water, tea and coffee
A bit noisy in the corridors when someone open the door here, I can clearly hear that And green light of “exit” sign in the room a bit distract if you sleep without sleeping mask

Newly refurbished, rooms were small and comfortable and tasteful. Fairly close to Edinburgh centre, a short 20 min walk. Fine for one night.
Corridors were noisy, bed wasn’t the most comfortable. The breakfast wasn’t great, one of the bagels was mouldy sadly.

This is a neat hotel in a quiet area which I really liked. The room was also comfortable. with adeaquate amenities such as the coffee/tea station and toiletries. It is also near many sights, a bus station and the train station which eaily takes you to the other sights. It is also near grocery stores and a range of restaurants and pubs.
The wifi was a bit of a challenge as the internet goes off regularly and then you have to sign in again. This occurs while you are busy on the internet and you are then not aware that you are actually using your own data. The free pastries available on a first come first serve basis in the morning are not always fresh.

Lovely decor & comfortable rooms. In particular, I loved the lounge area & outside courtyard that were both very calming to sit in for an hour or so. A good location with a bus stop around the corner where buses going into the centre of town stopped every 20 minutes.
There was a problem with my TV which I couldn't get to work in the evening. The next morning there was no wifi which was frustrating as I needed to check my work emails. Also, in the morning when I drew the curtains, one of the curtains came right off its rail & landed on the floor.

Unfortunately, not many positives to share. There was a little kitchen on the ground floor where you could get complimentary bottled water, which made up for the lack of a water station elsewhere.
The room carpet looked many years old and was dark with grime and dirt. The paint was peeling in multiple places in the room and out. Everything felt unclean, and it felt impossible to relax in the room because of these conditions. The staff I interacted with were largely students who didn't seem to really know how to help resolve the bad situation. It was difficult to understand what the process was for reaching customer service and actually getting a resolution. The location also felt quite removed from the central hub of Edinburgh.

Very close to the nearest bus stop.
There are dustbins at the entrance of the hotel. And there was no air conditioner in the room.

Courteous front desk staff, great location, quiet rooms.
The towel heater was broken in the bathroom, one window wouldn't stay propped open so the room was a bit hot and stuffy through the night. The price was a bit high for the size and comfort level of the rooms.
