Pleasant
The location and overall comfort of the hotel were very good. It was easy to reach many places and the stay was generally pleasant.
We requested room cleaning during our stay, but the towels were not changed initially. However, when we informed the staff, they were helpful and resolved it quickly. There were a few small cleanliness issues, but overall it was still a good experience.

The way the hotel is decorated. Is simple but beautiful and pleasant. The location, around 10 min from the city center.
The hotel doesn't provide a real breakfast, just put at our disposal some items, like yoghurt, smoothies, cookies, coffee, etc. Nevertheless, the quantity offered wasn't enough for the number of the guests. If you don't ask to clean your room they won't do it, which is weird.

Friendly staff and welcome. Nice and quiet room. Free breakfast with the limitation of first-come-first-serve. We also could leave our luggage for some hours after checkbout and explore the city for a bit longer.

Lovely hotel with pleasant staff. Lots of nice touches like the pantry with drinks, pastries, fruit biscuits, and crisps. There were breakfast cereals in the morning. and variety of drinks. Enjoyed our stay.. Very clean room and comfy bed.Would book again when we visit Edinburgh. Buses nearby also to enjoy the city.. Little noise at night.
The double room was cosy but somewhat compact for two people. Great for single use, however.

Excellent value for money. The rooms are quite basic but comfortable. The pantry is a real highlight - juices, smoothies, tea, coffee, water and snacks available all day. Staff are also lovely.
The room was quite small but I think that is typical of a lot of hotels in edinburgh. If you are looking for a 'proper hotel' this may not be for you. It has a grown up hostel vibe - in a good way.

£570 for 3 nights for this level of quality was expensive. Believe prices had been raised as this was a major Scotland v France rugby weekend. Sad

The staff were very friendly. I loved the communal spaces in the hotel, such as the lounge, pantry and outdoor space and if I'd stayed longer I would have taken more advantage of these. I loved the availability of bottled water and fresh fruit in the pantry; great to just pop in and pick up some snacks for on the go.
The selection of channels on the TV wasn't great but not really a big deal.

The room is comfortable for one person for a short stay. The hotel is in a great location and close to a bus stop.
The room I was in had no closet, no wardrobe to put my clothes in, only hangers. It was next to the elevator and super noisy every night. On one of the windows, it turned out there was a wall, slightly creaking.
