The location was one of the main advantages of this property. It is about a 10-minute walk from Haymarket Station, making it easy to get to from the airport. Most of the main attractions are also within walking distance and can be reached in around 20 minutes. The check-in process was straightforward, with access provided via a link, so there was no need for an in-person check-in. The room was a decent size and generally met expectations. Nothing particularly stood out, but there were no major issues either.
The main downside of the property was the noise. The building appears to be quite old, with very thin walls and creaky floors. We could clearly hear conversations from neighboring rooms, as well as people walking in the rooms above and nearby. Unfortunately, we were woken up early in the morning by a child in a neighboring room, and shortly afterwards there was a fire alarm caused by a false alarm, which was not the best start to the day. The bed was also not particularly comfortable. The mattress was quite bouncy, and the pillows felt rather cheap and lacked support. While the room generally appeared clean, we did find a few hairs in the shower. The bathroom had a couple of minor inconveniences. The toilet was lower than usual, and the toilet seat lid did not stay fully open, which made it somewhat awkward to use. Finally, the rooms have carpeted floors throughout. This may come down to personal preference, but as slippers were not provided, I did not find it to be the most comfortable or hygienic feeling.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is excellent — close to the city center and within walking distance of many attractions. The electronic check-in process was very easy and convenient. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We also appreciated being able to adjust the room temperature to our liking. It was great that breakfast was included, and a special thank you to the staff for the thoughtful birthday wishes.

Good location, nice and easy checking in and out. Room was a good size as was bathroom and shower. Toiletries and other sundries were good too.
Mattress on door side (room 122) was collapsed somewhat and needs replaced. Other side was ok hence for single occupant not an issue but for a couple not great. Toilet seat was loose and slid around but a quick bit of maintenance will sort. Was only there one night and left early hence didn’t have time to raise these issues but I’m sure they would’ve sorted them.

Great location, neat and tidy. Great value and simple for what you need. The hotel let us drop bags in early so we could walk around and explore. Very welcoming and friendly front on house staff.

Just the free morning coffee
The room was far from comfortable. It was small and very noisy, with noise coming both from outside and from inside the hotel. The walls seemed extremely thin, as I could clearly hear conversations from the room next door. The heating was not working, and the Wi-Fi did not work for the first 24 hours. Even after that, the connection remained unstable. For the price, the hotel failed to provide basic comfort. Some staff members were kind and tried to help, but no one took real responsibility for resolving the issues. Since I had a very busy week, I eventually gave up asking for assistance.
