The room was nice and the shower was fantastic. The staff were really nice and breakfast was delicious. Handy for a short stay.
The window couldn't close, needs some repair.

Comfortable room on ground floor but very little natural light as window faced a brick wall
Room door didn't fit properly so had to slam it to close. Lounge with honesty bar was nice but too cold to spend any time in there when I stayed as staff kept leaving the outside door open. Hopefully they will turn heating on for autumn

Walking distance to city center
No air conditioning. It was hot, so they gave us a small fan and opened the window facing the main street. We could hear traffic and street noise in the room. I asked to be moved to another room because of the noise. My request was ignored by the young man at the front desk. The bathroom is very tiny. Building needs a face-lift. Overpriced

Location was good, away from the city centre but not too far away. It was quiet in a good way.
Some of the staff were hard to understand or they didnt understand what was said to them. For example I tried to book a taxi for us to the airport, and I got the feeling that he (the guy in the reseption) didnt quite understand me. He gave me a business card (taxi number ex.). At that moment I was confused. Later on that day I went to reseption again, and there was another part of the staff and I asked her about the taxi, and she said that there wasnt any taxi booking for us for the morning. But then she booked the taxi for us and luckily the taxi did come in the morning. If I hadnt make sure twice, we would have been left without a taxi and missed our flight. The beds were at horrible condition in our room. No hand towels.

Room was what I had requested. Kitchen draff lack of organisation.. Having to remind staff a out your cooked breakfast. Reception staff very nice and helpful.
Noisy customers after 11pm. The place needs tlc our door painted on 1 side and not the other. Needed to bang it to close fire extinguisher behind the door

Beds awful soft uncomfortable No remote for TV asked no response Telephone in room not connected Used vapes in corner of room Tired furniture marked with rings Bathroom heard upstairs flushes and person using it. Walls so thin heard everything. No double glazing street noise awful Bins outside hotel unsightly and emptied at 4am !!! Student area Noisy ! All hours 3 star not !! Broken bedside light Crockery chipped in breakfast room Not enough cups to go around ! Police in street early hours blue flashing lights!

Handy location and a 15min walk to the Royal Mile . Some black mould around the shower and a little more attention to housekeeping required. Other than that everything else was good with helpful friendly staff with a very nice breakfast with a varied selection.
