The location is good and and the price was great also the room has all the facilities you will need for a short stay
There was no internet connection in my room and no mobile connection either and they told me they can’t change the room which I am okay with but they are responsible for providing me with free wifi which is written in the description of the room but the Wifi didn’t cover my room also I asked for room service three times on three different occasions in the reception to clean the room but they didn’t send anyone although they told me that I was eligible for this service as I checked in on Tuesday and the check out was on Saturday.

The location was great for the Haymarket train station and bus stops so it meant getting to and from where we we going a breeze and the room was very comfortable and tidy

Large clean rooms with fridge, kettle and etc. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cute place with a nice area to hangout and read books. Area is peaceful and near Dean village, so it’s a bit of a walk to the city center but not terrible.

The linen was clean and room warm.
Two fire alarms at night, one at 2am and another at 6am. No fire warden took control of the situation and we didn't know when it was safe to enter again, which resulted in a confused crowd and people walking back in unprompted. This is a Fire Safety risk and could have resulted in deaths. Also the reception was extremely slow and inefficient resulting in long wait for check-in. The kettle in the room was filthy and coated in limescale, resulting in me not having a tea in the morning. The water wasn't working in the morning which nearly meant I couldn't wash. The receptionist did give me extra time when it was fixed to go shower.

The hotel is in a good location. It's quiet and by the river in the woods. The room is nice and staff is good. The beds are comfy and the bathroom is ok.
We were 5 days and there is no room service. You have to go to the reception desk and ask for fresh towels and toilet paper and then you take it to your room. I found this odd. Everything is old. The hotel is down the hill so prepare yourself for a walking. The room has an odd smell but you get used to it in 10 minutes. I'm not sure if it is a cleaning stuff?
