Cleanliness, location, comfy room.
We were on the road side which was noisy during the day - probably from 6am on. Because of the wonderful weather we needed the window open. It was fine with the window shut & quite over night.

How close was from the center of town
The staff was super rude The room was not clean at all, all with mold in the walls and bathroom disgusting The queen bed I asked for was 2 single beds put together.. They put me in a room so noisy I couldn't sleep

The location was pretty good, the bed was comfy enough and the staff was friendly
Sometimes our room card didnt work so we had to run down to the desk to get into our room. There is no wifi unless you pay ( to be fair it is stated on here I just mustve missed it so it was a surprise lol) . Our TV only had radio stations on it which was a little odd. The bath wasnt the cleanest and the water pressure in the shower was low too.

Bed was rock hard. The duvet thin & and too small for a double bed. Pillows were so thin we used clean towels under them to give the pillows height
Asked for twin, got double.
Soap dispenser had soap so watered down it was basically just water.
Room had 1 towel, 1 dirty mug, and a loo roll with 2 sheets left on it. Had to go ask for more of everything. Took 3 hrs to get towels.
Theyd hiked up their prices because of events in Edinburgh. According to website usually 45. We paid over double because only place left within budget. 45 for what we got would have been cheeky but 100 was a con. And that was a room without a window

It was clean, warm and had tea/coffee facilities. Tv worked. Had hairdryer, iron and iron board.
Very dated and run down, furniture is run down, bathrooms in need of a desperate upgrade. Lots of Trolleys full of filthy towels and bedding in the hallways. Bed, could feel the springs on it. It was like the room had been thrown together. No access to some plugs for the furniture. Have stayed in edingburgh countless times and Wouldnt recommend to stay here.
