It’s too small specially when u check in by the front desk you don’t have space to chill while waiting for the key.

Nothing
I was only permitted 7 hours and then they said I had to check out. They counted a check in at 3:30 am the night before.

We arrived early by train. The staff reception staff let us check in early as there is empty room available. The location is a bit far from the train station, but it is right beside Dean Village.

Staff were welcoming and helpful and the location suited us.
Pre check in and booking process was irrelevant as we still had to queue and check in when we arrived.

Fair
Rooms were never cleaned during our stay, bins not emptied,no fresh towels even after placing them on the floor. Not even a single hook in the bathroom to hang a towel.
Most frustratingly,we were charged for parking despite Booking.com clearly advertising free parking which is misleading.
Location is decent but poor service and misleading listing make it impossible to recommend.

Food was lovely,Chef was lovely and good value!!
Bathroom was terrible and so tiny..Heard water running all night..Headboard was broken and we were told it was a double bed but they were 2 singles put together with a huge gap down the middle!! I absolutely recommend the rooms being refurbished!! Poor quality.

Disappointing
Breakfast was good variety and choice.
reception staff was horrible. We had confirmed booking with arrival accepted at 2pm. When we arrived at Hotel at 1.50pm to check in the rude receptionist said their check in time is 3pm and there's not a single room ready to check in at 2pm and he can't accept us till the check in time of 3pm, even after I showed him the confirmed 2pm check in approved email.
Then we had to go out and roam in the city for couple of hours till we get to check in.
We had booked a triple room. But the room was supplied with only 2 towels. I called the housekeeping twice and Nobody answered after waiting for coule of minutes. Then I called the reception ( They don't have intercom, and I called from my mobile) and informed the lack of towels, they lady in the reception said they don't have enough towels now and can provide a new towel only on the next day morning. Then I have to remind her that this is a triple room and you have to provide us 3 towels, and after 1 hour she brough us 3 Floor Towels that and said thats the best she can do. What a disaster for a hotel of this calibre. ????
Room didnt have a hair dryer as they have adertised in the listing.
Not going to recommend this hotel to anyone.!!!

Very Poor
Breakfast was very poor. No porridge no coffee machine. Staff was very unfriendly we were still eating breakfast as we had side plates only. Tables were not cleared.food laying around. 930 the one employee In the restaurant started taking all the food away. I
We did not get a chance to get more food. He took the toast within 15 minutes breakfast bar was empty. When we asked why so much of a mad rush as we were not finished, he didn't apologise he said the food item remaining was for the staff breakfast.
No sheets one one of the beds. Asked 3 times for pillows which we never got. Had to move to a other room with no help. Iron burn on the carpet large hairs in bathroom.

It was perfect for what I needed it for. I was only in town for a couple nights, and I wanted to spend my time exploring, so it was a convenient place, and it was comfortable to sleep in. Staff was very friendly and gave great recommendations.

Fair
On arrival I found the gentelman at reception to be very helpful. With the details of my room and in regards to parking my car. I had called the hotel the day before and the Woman I spoke to gave my little information on the parking so it was a releif to get there and someone tell me all I nedeed to know. The room Was nice enough, a good size. The bed was as I expected. It was freezing cold in the room though and took a good 3 hours to warm it up with the small electric heater. I have no complants about it in general as it was good value and the bed was comfortable. I read the reviews after I booked the room and was worried. But it was ok. Not amazing but not bad. Would I stay there again? for the value. Yes.
The bathroom is laid out for People in wheelchairs. That is ok with me. But it had a heavy smell of Disinfectant and was slightly oderous. So I made sure the door was closed at all times. The room was very cold on entry so as with this time of the year it might have been nice if this had been on before arrival. The room decor is a little drab, it badly needs a paint but it did not stop my level of comfort. An Armchair would have been nice.

Disappointing
We were charged unfairly for the car parking even after registering our vehicle.
We were charged around £40. I said and they confirmed at the reception that if we register our vehicle on their system we won't be charged but we did get charged eventually.
