The bed was very comfy and room was very spacious.
The mirrors in both the main room and bathroom were very dirty and I found a pair of socks that did not belong to me.

I recently stayed at the Britannia Hotel in Edinburgh and overall had a mixed but mostly positive experience.
On the positive side, I would especially like to highlight the excellent service provided by the reception staff, particularly Rosa and Alvin. Rosa was incredibly polite, charming, and welcoming throughout my stay. Whenever I needed assistance, she was always ready to help with a great attitude and a warm smile. Alvin was also very helpful and professional, making sure my needs were taken care of and contributing to a pleasant experience.
However, there was one downside during my stay. The heaters in the room were not working, which made the room quite uncomfortable at times. This is something that I believe the hotel should address to improve guest comfort.
Despite this issue, I still had a wonderful time overall. The staff were friendly and supportive, and the positive service experience—especially thanks to Rosa and Alvin—made my stay enjoyable. I would consider staying again if the heating issue is resolved.

The location was ok
The room was disgusting, bedding had holes in it, the carpet was dirty the cobwebs where thick in the ceiling, the dust of the window sill with the curtains hanging off the rail and mould in the bathroom (no working fan)
No clean towels for a 3 night stay.

Nice room enjoyed the stay no complaints would come again only slight disappointment was parking was exstra ..just took me by surprise......cheers .
Just exstra for parking ...I had come across from Stirling travel lodge which was free parking and didn't expect to be charged it here .....but apart from this nice clean place ..thanks.
