It was in a nice neighborhood. Not in the middle of crazy Edinburgh old town crowd. Its 20-30 min nice walk to many attraction.
My room was overlooking the park, perfect for morning wake up. It was summer and I could able to left my windows open for fresh air.
The restaurant and bar downstairs is really a good place. Not too touristy, more local feel, very good vibe.
The clothes cabinet was not functional, too small. I was travelling for 4 days with a small luggage so it was OK for me. But for couples and large luggage’s it might not work.

The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. When I am next in Edinburgh, I will go out of my way to eat at there restaurant. The staff were also amazing with me and could not do enough for you. The hotels overall pricing was very reasonable and I would whole heartly advice anyone to eat at this hotel.
The parking was a nightmare for me and very expensive. The only reason I will not stay at this hotel again is because of the parking. However, I will eat again at the hotel when I return to Edinburgh

The hotel is very nice, close to the city center. The pub is also lively and serves quality food.

Lovely hotel and decor. Enjoyed cocktails in the bar and outside too.
It took us about half an hour to walk into the centre of Edinburgh. Obviously we knew this. Also - we got a parking ticket, as we weren't up early enough to pay from 8:30 (I think it was). Our own fault of course, but onsite parking would be preferable.

The location is great and there is a very buzzy vibe around the bar and outdoor area
The rooms are overpriced for the standard they are with some decorations starting to look tired. Also breakfast took 45 minutes to serve.

It’s a stunning venue and location, close enough to everything but not in the total crowd rush. The restaurant was lovely and the room superb.
There was building work in the morning which meant we had to keep the blinds closed on the enormous windows in the morning. Would have been good to know before booking.

staff at night were not interested and had 0 interest in customer service
reception was poorly marked. and when i eventually got there the staff were more interested in their conversations then helping us.. why work there if ure not interested in customer service. u might as well deploy a self service systen
wen we found our room.by ourselves after some time. it was dirty curtains broken and not private. room doors dont go to the floor so u can here the other guests talking and having fun
day staff ok but checkout instructions are not clear booking.com says 11 but its actually 10
