We got an upgrade for a bigger room, which was a pleasant and wonderful surprise. The hotel and room were super comfy and we had a lovely time. The breakfast also was really good with lots of options from the buffet and menu.
Unfortunately, it was not possible to open the windows in our room, therefore it was quite stuffy, but not terrible. We notified the reception on our last night. They tried to open but realized that for some reason it was impossible.

Room was wonderful, spacious and with a lovely view. The location is fantastic: the city center is a short walk away, and you have easy access to a lot of local little shops and restaurants in the area.
Staff is friendly and helpful. As a solo traveler, I felt perfectly safe.

Quick and easy check in. Locations is excellent, with a nicer room than I had last year at a more expensive hotel across the street.

Wonderful
Fantastic staff, especially Alison at the front desk. Location was truly amazing — super close to tourist attractions but in a peaceful neighborhood with an abundance of cute shops and restaurants. Great value for money, with spacious and clean rooms.
Only complaint was the WiFi, which was pretty slow and patchy in from our room.

The cable for the iron is barely long enough to reach the end of the ironing board. This can make it really difficult to iron a shirt.

Stayed at this hotel in the past and had no problems. However, my second visit was spoilt by having no hot water in the shower. I reported it at reception and was informed that it would be dealt with. It wasn't.
No hotwater.

Location was perfect, breakfast was delicious
The electricity in our bathroom went out the last two nights we were there. They were unable to move us to another room, the first night due to being fully booked, which I understand, but then our last night they wanted to move us to a different room when we would be getting up in the morning And taking a taxi at 6 AM to the airport. Facilities management brought in an extension cord and they moved the seating area lamp into the bathroom so that we had light. When we brought this to their attention Thursday morning, and we informed him we wouldn’t be back until late… Would’ve thought a little more effort would’ve been put into it then using an extension cord and putting a light in the bathroom. Which one they wanted us to switch rooms, they took away the extension cord, even though we told them we didn’t want to move since it was our last night and our priority was packing our suitcases and getting to bed early.
I understand that there is some things out of their control. Just wish there was a little more communication and the facilities manager would’ve called an actual electrician.

The room was fantastic, so spacious! The hotel was quiet and very enjoyable (especially during the busy Fringe!). It's easily walkable to get into town for the attractions. The breakfasts were out of this world. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they had great recommendations, and called taxis for us as needed! We really appreciated them. A great stay.
I had ordered a platter and some champagne for our arrival, which stayed in the room throughout our stay, it wasn't cleared when the room was turned over during the day. The radiator in the bathroom was dangerously hot, it burned to the touch. I could also appreciate that the restaurant was closed on the day we left, but the ability to have a cup of tea or coffee while waiting for our taxi would have been lovely. Minor gripes, in all.

perfect location, bus service into city. Friendly staff. Didn't eat there other than breakfast which was great. Strange, quirky building, but interesting. Parking (paid) on site, and we didn't need the car. Staff very happy to help.
