The room was clean. Clean towels every day.
The room was very basic.. one bottle of water for a very hot two day stay and two tea bags a day. The staff were very friendly and helpful but their appearance was untidy and did not give a professional appeal when you walked in.

Very handy for central Edinburgh - walking distance to Usher Hall and Princes Street. Nice relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. Parking on-site is limited, but is available. loads of tunnocks tea-cakes in reception and rooms :-)

bed was very comfortable, room was large and clean, breakfast was good,
Staff were absent, not enough staff, they were also a little unfriendly(no smiles). Parking was charged extra, at the price paid it should have been included.

Our flight was delayed, so we arrived at 2.00am so the 24 hour desk was certainly helpful! We were upgraded to a better room which, again, was most welcome and the venue was ideal for our weekend.

The location. The breakfast.
The room temperature was +25C despite outside it was +15C. There was a movable air conditioner which means that the hotel new that the room is hot. However the air conditioner didn't work properly and the room stayed very warm.

Room was shabby - bathroom door needed paint - and bath hatches for service kept opening - bed was two beds locked together with a gap - we had to ask on two occasions for housekeeping to restock loo paper - breakfast ok but not inspiring

Could rooms have a few hook-over coat hangers as standard? The snick-in kind are hard to use especially as so high up.
