Room was very spacious, comfortable. I was impressed with the bathroom, very modern. Great location. Lovely been by open space. Enjoyed a few early morning walks around the links.

The room was so spacious, clean. Great location, just a mile away from Victoria street. Staff was friendly. I think they upgraded my room. We had a view from out hotel window to Edinburgh Castle. Interior was not outdated, comfy bed, even the bathroom was spacious. Loved everything.

Every member of staff I spoke to was really friendly and helpful.
Location was perfect for my needs.
I didn't have breakfast so I am unable to comment.
The one and only thing I would fix is the deadlock on my door . I could lock the door but at night I tried to turn the deadlock but it wasn't working. I didn't feel unsafe but I like to be able to double lock when travelling alone.

The water and t cakes in reception were a lovely welcome touch
Very well maintained property, clean room and brilliant breakfast
Dog bed and water bowl were supplied for my dog without asking - I have never seen this before and it was another helpful feature . Entire hotel is dog friendly which is fantastic especially allowing you to dine / have breakfast in hotel

Bathroom was huge/beautiful but freezing. Towel rail didn’t work & couldn’t be fixed so wasn’t inclined to use the amazing big bath. Would be ok in summer but in colder months needs more heating and at very least a hot towel rail

Disappointing
Staff was friendly and stored my luggage until check out time. The location of the hotel is fantastic. It is near lots of restaurants and shops as well as a nice park.
My room (30) was so loud. There was a door that lead to the hallway of rooms that would slam each time someone came in/out. The wall behind my bed was shared with some sort of utility room where workers were quite loud. My bathroom was disgusting with mold, dirt and dust.

Very large room and an enormous bathroom. Four people could easily fit in without a squeeze.
Good wifi and very large double bed.
Very clean and some nice goodies - Tunnock Tea Cakes make a nice touch.
The receptionist could have been friendlier, not even the hint of a smile.

I have stayed a number of times before. Bruntsfield has a village feel within the city and the parade of independent shops are great. The bedroom is a good size and the beds are really comfortable
I have always been lucky with parking, but it is a small carpark so you have to be ready to have to park your car on the road.
