Nice hotel in a good location
The woman who was managing breakfast was very sour faced and unfriendly. Not even a good morning. The rest of the staff were very nice

Location is nice, 20 minutes walk from the center.. the area is nice
We saw a mouse in the room, they gave us a new room but with little apologize and no commercial gesture. We understand it can happen but it’s never a nice experience and a commercial gesture would have been nice (even a glass of wine)

The bedroom was extraordinarily hot and had to sleep for 3 nights with the windows and curtains open which was noisy and bright before being moved for the final night.

The room size and decor. I was delighted to have received a free upgrade.
The location is excellent, just a 20 minute walk from the city centre, and well served by buses.
Staff were helpful and friendly.
I found the pillows to be uncomfortable - too soft, not providing enough support. I woke a number of times that night.
I would've asked at reception about other types of pillow had I been staying a 2nd night.

Great stay. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The cleanliness was top-notch, and it was quiet throughout the stay. A coffee machine, tea, milk, snacks, slippers, and bathrobes were also provided. Sainsburys and restaurants are just neaby within walking distance.

Breakfast was delicious and staff were super friendly. Bar was relaxed with the kids for which we are so grateful. A really nice place to relax on a special family get together.
A minor quibble, I wanted to book breakfast for everyone (10 in our party) but it was almost £50 just for three of us. Given the kids don't eat much, I wonder if there could be a discount for children or larger parties?
