Exceptional
Breakfast was fantastic, so much choice, even for 2 fussy children. Pool and spa were great. Staff very helpful. Our room was very comfortable, we all had a lovely sleep
Only thing I didn’t like was that children were only allowed in the pool until 7pm even though it’s open till 9pm, as after having days out, the children wanted to have a swim before bed but weren’t able to do so.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Room was clean, with a nice big bed. Swimming pool was great and loved by the kids! Handy for the bus into Edinburgh and other places of interest nearby.
The room was a little tired, especially the bathroom.

Spacious clean rooms. On bus route to Edinburgh centre (stop near train station) but also reasonable price in a taxi. Short taxi ride to beach. Plenty of paid parking
Key card needed resetting every time we tried to use it.
A small fridge would have been useful.

We chose this property for our stay, based on the pictures that I have seen on booking which look decent, and also because of the swimming pool facilities. And the location is fairly close to the city center.
There is so many things that I have to say about what we didn’t like about the property:
1. Same breakfast options every day. If you stay more than 2 nights consider to eat same food every morning
2. Customer service in the restaurant was below acceptable. First evening the waitress thrown the pizza plate that nearly landed on my daughter laps. No apologies or anything. For the whole evening the only person that smile and was welcoming us was the young lady at the bar. Who bring our drinks and she genuinely knows how to do customer service( the rest of staff should learn from her)
On our 3rd night we went to the bar to have a drink and some dessert and been told that there are no spoons available so we had no choice than eat the dessert with a soup spoon. ( to mention it was 8pm , not a late night when is understandable)
3. Swimming pool, was ok. However there were no robes, and slippers. To mention that reception said We will get it when we go to the pool. There are no robes in the room either.
4.The room was the worse. 4 nights stay and no cleaning at all. They only changed our towels after 3rd day. Cause i asked to. In the policy says the bed linen will be changed if you stay more then 3 nights, when i asked why it wasn’t changed after 3 nights I have been told by the receptionist that he has no explanation for that. And also we are leaving on the following day, so is no point doing it anymore. None hover the room or clean the bathroom either. Even though I hang the sign to clean my room at 8am.
5. Also the wifi was really bad. Barely could log into anything.
