A dog had been sleeping on the empty bed and it had not been changed for new guests using the room, we reported at reception and it was changed within the hour

It was clean, well equipped and provided everything we needed. The spa was a bonus!
The jacuzzi in the spa - having to get out every 5 minutes for cleaning was a little excessive. You would just get in then have to get out again.
The food at the restaurant, we had a pizza and it was a frozen pizza you could have bought from Tesco. This was disappointing

Location to bus stop making getting into Edinburgh main city very easy. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Very tired, everywhere. Grim bedroom with awful view.
Breakfast was bedlam.
Very few GF options for dinner and the bistro has no atmosphere at all.
