We had a great stay and the hotel fully met our expectations. We especially appreciated staying outside the busy city centre, which made for a more relaxing experience. At night, we could keep the window open without being disturbed by any noise.
Portobello Beach was just a 15-minute walk away, and getting to the city centre was easy – only about 20 minutes door-to-door by train from Brunstane Station.
The family room was spacious enough for the four of us, with comfortable beds that ensured a good night’s sleep.
If I visit Edinburgh again, I would definitely choose to stay here once more.

Location: close to the beach (10-15 min) walk.
Bus stop very close. Good connection to city centre.
Spa facilities.
Nice reception staff.
Quiet area.
The breakfast (£16) could have been way better.
No good value for money. Quality and choice should be better too.

Large comfy bed and friendly staff
Rooms very dated, carpets looked grubby and floor boards were very noisy and bathroom smelt of paint.
