Comfortable hotel with restaurant on premises. Helpful bus stop right in front to explore Edinburgh or Musselburgh/Cockenzie. Front desk can call you taxi when needed. Room was spacious with table and two chairs. Very nice view of the Firth of Forth. Nice being able to open windows. Breakfast had many choices. You can ask for hot porridge- it was very nice. There is a launderette on the high street in Musselburgh (take bus 44 or 124) next to Domino Pizza. We put a suitcase full of laundry in and had it back all done and folded back in our large suitcase (2 loads) the next afternoon, cost £30. Very convenient. There is a great corner minimart just a door down. We were so busy we didn’t get to try the pool and hot tub but we took a look and it was nice. They have lockers they give you a token for, changing room, and towels. Staff throughout the property were very professional and helpful.
