Location is most definitely the advantage for someone who is doing a road trip as the hotel location is most convenient for entry and exit from the city as well as for parking and in-out for sightseeing. Breakfast is typically British- for family with vegetarian preferences there were selective items those met our needs and the breakfast team was very helpful to navigate and friendly.

Good location near the AI on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Plenty of storage space in the bedroom.
The fire alarm went off, apparently a false alarm, two fire engines turned up and we had to evacuate the building.

Good location for city centre. Nice refurbishment at reception.
Room was very hot, although a squeaky fan was provided. Shower leaked from shower door. The Tennents beer in the bar was warm and breakfast was vile. Some of the staff made it obvious they did not want to be there. Parking has to be paid for now.

Comfortable bed. Nice soap provided. Fairly good range of breakfast but coffee and tea were from a machine. Staff for the breakfast sitting were attentive and quick to help and clear the tables. Large tv in the room easy to access channels.
Wider choice of teas in the room. A fridge in the room would be nice. The weather was hot. There was no air conditioning but this was on their website. The hotel is being refurbished in stages, I think.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was in a great location where we could park our car and hop on the bus that was directly in front of the hotel, to head into the city.
The bed was comfortable, and the room was very clean and spacious.
There was nothing we didn’t like or were unhappy with.
