I booked the room to give my daughter some quiet, relaxed space to concentrate on revising for an exam. We did not stay the night. However, we used room service for dinner which was quick and the food was hot. The room was lovely and clean. The bed was comfortable and the room size was excellent.
The staff were friendly and attentive.
Def would recommend.
There was nothing in our short stay that could've been better.

Location access to portobello beach or 8mins train ride to Edinburgh city centre , check in was simple and the room was spotless with plenty tea n coffee also the bar was reasonably priced for being in Edinburgh area and had a good atmosphere slept well in bed very comfortable and enjoyed a sauna n swim next morning before we left would highly recommend
Couch seats in bar area not up to decent standard needs a wee clean and car park now payable but we parked on street outside property to save some cash

Room was lovely and clean. We have stayed here numerous times over the years. It's not changed, it's needs a bit of attention, decor is tired and not giving me a great welcome, the last time I was here, was over 9yrs ago!!! It is in a great location, bus stop right outside, various and different companies and times, direct to anywhere you want! Lots of choice, Leith, which i love or Portobello..lots of places to eat or shop! Breakfast...mmmm! Has slimmed down from what we remember. Choice was very limited and the area of choice was slimmed down too....no bread rolls, hot choices limited, lack of staff...although staff were friendly, there wasn't enough there. No one came to ask us if we needed anything or advise us if we could order additional hot food...poached or scrambled egg! Unfortunately, due to feeling a bit under the weather, I didn't try the leisure facilities.
