The location is very good in Portobello, the hotel is very comfortable. The staff are mostly incredibly friendly especially the young ladies in the restaurant. The room was very comfortable and quiet and the breakfast was very good. Portobello beach nearby is excellent to visit. Edinburgh itself is easily reachable in many ways bus/car/train.
If you're being picky, the hotel is getting a bit dated with it's decor. It reminds very much of years gone by and the restaurant could do with an upgrade, but it served it's purpose.

Location, shower was good too. Leisure facilities were good too
I had to pay for parking, there is NO mention of this on ANY of the info prior to sent to us.

Room was quite large, and comfortable and breakfast also had many cooked options. It was very good place to stay if you can compromise with location a bit. But you can take a bus to city. Bus stop is just outside the hotel and bus may take 30 min to reach city center. Hotel wise it's great for the price. I would stay again!
I can't find things to complain about this hotel. It was really great. Just location is a bit in residential area and 30 min away from city but also price was cheaper for that reason.

A large room. Nice and quiet. The furniture was a bit dated and faded. Excellent swimming pool and gym.
Guests should have free parking and breakfast should be included with the room price. No descent breakfast muesli.

Well placed with parking. Edinburgh a bus ride away from stop straight outside the Hotel
