Just being one train from Edinburgh city centre and not been too far from the coast and the hotel being dog-friendly
Being charged just a park your car in the hotel car park even after you paid to stay there takes the P especially the amount of money you're paying to stay at the hotel

Wonderful
Clean and spacious room, comfortable beds, nice staff. It's located in a quiet area, pretty close to the beach if you like to walk there in the morning.
A bit far from the city center, but there are a lot of buses to take to the center so it wasn't an issue for us.

The service provided by both the bar and reception was excellent, and I would particularly like to commend Payal. She offered outstanding service to my family and me, which significantly enhanced our trip. The location is convienient, 20 mins drive from the city and 14 mins walk to the beach.
The Family Room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was paticularly notiable, as it had a bath tub. A relaxing night after a long day of tour.
The family loved the spa and swimming, would recomend for family and excellent price for ehat we got.

It was dry when it rained
It is bare bones , zero frills . Bottom budget . It all needs a major revamp very old and worn out building. Bathroom was disgusting with long period ground in dirt around in and around the bath . The guy controlling breakfast was sat on the floor and not wearing a uniform just a black sports hoodie . No hairnets, masks or apron when handling or serving food . No shampoos etc . Paid 370£ for two nights and it was awful. Can only show 4 photos but many more I can show

I very much enjoyed the comfortable and spacious room on the top (3rd) floor, the staff were friendly and accommodating, the spa and pool were a nice extra while I also liked the location which was not too busy

I only had a single room which is quite small but it was warm and comfortable, the mattress was nice and firm and it was very cheap for Edinburgh. There were decent complimentary biscuits. The gym is well-equipped and a good size although some of the running machines looked like they could do with a bit of servicing of the control panels.
The hotel seems to still take cash (I paid for parking with cash). Parking is free on the road immediately outside the hotel.
Wifi is advertised as free but it isn't: it requires a name and email address if you want to use it.
