Great hot breakfast, nice and comfy bed. Only minor negative thing is the location is far from the center but easily accessible by bus. Overall great experience and would book again, thank you!

again, the second room location was not great it was in the hotel but had to walk through a dinning room/stage door to get to the bedroom, not double bed but to singles push together

Historic, very helpful and courteous staff
No lift, and exceptionally difficult to negotiate all the stairs with even small luggage up to room 311. A long way from teception.

Liked the hotel oldy worldy style and its location, but probably not everyone's cup of tea, as a good 30 minute walk from the centre. Plentiful cheap busses though.
Rooms and beds were huge! Loved the buffet breakfast, plenty on offer.
Heating throughout was slightly lacking. Just needed to be a degree or so higher to be comfortable. I know this is difficult in an older property. Room radiator was red hot, but it needed another to be perfectly comfortable. Hotel could do with a bit of TLC in places.
