Leanne on Reception was extremely helpful, upgraded our room, got us a table in the bar for Dinner as Dining Room was fully booked. Nell & other staff attended to our requests & looked after us extremely well.
We are so pleased to have found this comfortable friendly hotel. Breakfast was plentiful on a self serve basis.
## I wanted to explore SKIP DIVING but my partner FORBID me. As a keen recycler, I could have recycled those items & given them a new purpose!
No Welcome book in bedroom, wanted to read the info, facilities & wi-fi password if needed.
Sad to leave as we enjoyed it so much unfortunately we had another appointment!

Everything, The receptionist Leigh-Ann made you feel as though you were an inconvenience and paid more attention to the dog Ralfie that was behind the reception. On being in the hotel for less than an hour we had an issue with the floor in the bathroom which resulted in getting wet feet while using the toilet. On reporting the issue to the receptionist the options were all the maintenace staff had finished and we could wait for the night porter to come and have a look , find other accommodation as they were fully booked and had no other room to offer . Having found alternative accommodation we went to report to the receptionist that we were leaving but she was no where to be seen the tops of the reception bells had been removed so you could'nt ring for attention on her return she came in with the dog on a lead, clearly had time to take the dog out . Too cut a long story short we are still waiting for a refund.

Freindly staff who were very helpful. Great views over Edinburgh from restaurant/breakfast room.
Room small, uncomfortable beds, especially pillows. Towel heating rack was on 24/7 and couldn’t turn off which overheated the room. TV didn’t have any reception so no use. No fridge in room

Decent hotel with plenty of parking on a lovely quiet site.
Heat in the room, very stuffy couldn’t sleep either night and it wasn’t particularly hot outside mid-June, couldn’t open a window wide enough, no air-con or fans available, Room layout a bit strange too, TV at the side of the bed.

Great on site parking and WiFi included. Spacious family room, good breakfast and very good evening meal. Location was great with excellent public transport to the city and surrounding areas.
Very tired decor, broken bath fittings and cooking smells from the kitchen extract system. Worn carpets on stairs repaired with tape, hair I. The plug from previous guests

The place needs a complete overhaul. £287 for 1 night and there is mould on the ceilings, and it's got the most random stuff lying around. The worst reception area I've ever encountered.
