Location, views, comfort, temperature, traditional building, staff and breakfast all spot on
The bath was lovely and high but with no hand rail was a little slippy when showering exiting

Beautiful clean hotel. The decoration is very nice. Staff very helpful and friendly. The breakfast super tasty. Sadly on the last morning of 3 they had run out of salmon. Towels changed daily. The situation of the hotel is excellent. The room very large.
Bathroom very good.
On one of the days we found our room door had been left unlocked by the staff when we returned from a days exploring. The door was open. I definitely know it was not us. The towels had been changed.
Thankfully nothing missing.

No tv Channels. Only apps on the TV. Restaurant Staff . Not very helpful. Forgetting a lot of the breakfast. Had to remind them a few mornings.

Lovely premises. Clean, comfy, VERY helpful staff and close to the venue we were going to.
At time of booking, breakfast was included in price., hence my reason for booking. Only on arriving at hotel I found out breakfast was not included.

Room was traditional and beautiful, very clean, large, light and welcoming. Communal hall/ stairs decorated beautifully and traditionally. Breakfast was good...nicely cooked and in lovely surroundings. Matter with loose toilet seat attended to straight away when reported.. Fantastic location for art galleries and city. Complementary chocolates at the reception area.

Room was spacious, clean, warm and very comfortable. We had everything we needed! Good access to plugs and mirrors, lighting was good. Bathroom was lovely with both a bath and a shower. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and freshly cooked to order along with continental options. Overall a very pleasant stay. Easy access to bus station, theatre, restaurants and shops. We used the left luggage facility which was very handy.
We were in a downstairs room and one set of steps did not have a hand rail and was not the easiest to navigate but not impossible.

Welcoming reception. Friendly restaurant staff. Wholesome Scottish breakfast. Well maintained decor. Useful in-room refreshments. Very good en-suite shower room. Very handy for tram and Waverley station being in New Town.
