Staff responded quickly to complaints.
Hotel in excellent location.
Breakfast very good, but did miss that there was no fresh fruit salad
First room: given key card and left to climb 4 flights of stairs( 80 and 74 years) to discover even more stairs in bedroom.No air conditioning and room unbearably hot, despite small fan. After complaining we were moved to a small first floor room. Very tall husband would have struggled to use tiny shower unit.

No lift in the hotel, stairs hard to climb and no handrail at the last part of the stairs when climbing from floor 1-
No refrigerator in the room
Minimal toiletries.
This hotel is classed 4 stars and as standars should have all the facilities of a 4 stars hotel.
The breakfast is very expensive and is requested to pay for every coffe, never had a continental breakfast where i had to pay for the coffe. The choice is very limited and arriving at 9 am there was hardly what to eat.

Great Location, large, very comfortable room. Lots of stairs to get there but worth it.
Inconsistent housekeeping standards for supplied amenities. I had to either go to main building or seek out the service person to get coffee, water. Not a big deal but an inconvenience and confusing.

Extremely convenient location, close to station, Old Town and New Town. Comfortable room with a lovely bathroom - I really liked the freestanding bath. Great breakfast. Good to be in an old building typical of the New Town.
As it was right on a main road it was quite noisy, but I expected this - I always travel with ear plugs! I was surprised that there was no lift - I probably wouldn't have used it anyway but it could be a problem for some people. Another thing which surprised me was the £100 charge on my card in case the room was damaged or (I was told) the hairdryer stolen! This was of course cancelled when I checked out, but it's not something I've ever encountered in my years of travelling. A sad comment on the times, but I did feel as if they didn't trust me.

The room was comfortable and clean and a good size. The bathroom was clean. The staff was very nice. We enjoyed the breakfast choices. The location just outside of Old Town was great. I think it's much quieter, and it was easier to visit the waterfront yacht from there via the tram.
Could use a safety handle in the bathtub for getting in and out. Very slippery. Do not understand how to use the towel heater, as we don't have those in America. Perhaps some instructions somewhere? But these were very small problems. Just curiosities.

The location was great! Clean room and great bathroom. Breakfast made to order - pleasant staff.
Room in the basement had almost no daylight - not very charming. The noice from the street was really bad; had to purchase earplugs after first night.

Hotel has a high standard of cleanliness, comfortable bed ,staff were very friendly, helpful and always spoke and gave a warm smile lovely to see in a morning.
My husband and I were more than happy to walk up stairs but perhaps it should say there are no lifts in this hotel just for anyone who find stairs hard going.Long life bread at breakfast was a bit of a let down .
