Everything about this hotel is perfect from the location to the beautiful rooms to the wonderful and helpful staff. We would highly recommend this hotel anyone coming to stay in edinburgh city.

Great stay! Everything was flawless. The location was perfect for me. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The bed was really comfortable. There is also gym, sauna and a pool which I just didn't have the time to use.

Actually the location probably the beat thing in the hotel. And the shower was good.
There is only 1 lift the other one was not working which makes the ride on the lift very long sometimes it could take up to 10 mins to reach your floor. It keeps going up and down and also room service uses the same lift..
The bed was broken, pillows were so uncomfortable, Air conditioning is very weak, the room kinda small, very narrow aisle to reach the room, with thin walls between rooms. And we are in 2026 and no smart Tv and no Coffee Machine! Plus You gotta get on steps to reach your rooms which makes it difficult when you are carrying baggage.
I also cut my trip off 1 days earlier and they refused to refund me the last night that I paid for because “the reservation is through booking”

Hotel was in a good location, great access to st James shopping centre and Waverley station, food was nice and staff were very friendly and helpful
The rooms were slightly grubby, could have done with some up keep and we found wrappers on the floor behind furniture, along with marks on the bedding. Only one lift was working during our stay which was also a slightly inconvenience

Brilliant location and superb staff customer service skills
Had a minor issue with the blinds in the room but the hotel sorted it swiftly and with amazing customer service.

Very helpful, polite and professional staff. I got an early check in, complimentary. Bottled water provided as needed. Sauna, pool & gym were also very good.
The bedsheets and pillows were stained.
