Quiet, clean and excellent location. The had a nice surprise waiting for us on arrival for our 10 year anniversary which was lovely.
Only negative was the pillows were not very comfortable.

- the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were also very helpful with our luggage and gave us tips on what activities to do
- the hotel restaurant was good. Had limited options in the menu but the food was delicious
- the location was perfect. It was within walking distance of most of the attractions im Edinburgh (like the royal mile, calton hill, Edinburgh castle, etc).
- There is a shortcut to waverly station via the hotel elevator by going to the basement level. It places you directly in front of the station
- The beds and pillows were very comfortable
- it didnt have a nice view (we were situated on the fourth floor). The rooms overlooked the alleyways

Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Gave us lots of recommendations for plans and brought complimentary pastries up to the room when we called for more coffee and milk!

We had a great stay at the hotel, room was clean and bed very comfy, plenty of room. The staff were very kind and helpful. We really enjoyed using the pool area, especially as we had children with us. We also had a drink at the bar which was great and again staff really helpful. The location was handy for walking e everywhere and 2 min walk from the train station.
The pool was a little chilly but manageable.

The location was perfect for us, we enjoyed walking around and being close to the train station. The room was a decent size and the spa facilities were very nice.
The bed had a section where you could feel the springs, so not the most comfortable sleeping arrangement.
