Location. Staff were very pleasant.
Stuck on the worst floor, no windows, just a glazed-over box. Woken at 06:15 by a garbage removal crew that clattered on for 20 minutes. So much for sleep. For the nightly rate, we expected something a touch more refined. A real shame, as we arrived with high hopes.

We stayed at the Apex hotel for 3 nights. The room was very nice. The bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. I slept very well. We also attended the pool and sauna, which was nice, but the pool is a little small. I also had a massage at Yu spa, it was great, very professional and relaxing. I would stay at this hotel again.

We were in a room on the ground floor with absolutely no view - the windows were blocked up with an opaque sticker. Really rooms like that should be sold as obscured view at a reduced rate…

Big room and bathroom. For an older building nice to find it had air conditioning. Has fridge, safe and tea and coffee making facilities. Good location bonus being near start of hop on bus tours and lovely and quiet at night with good blackout curtains.. Great staff. Ate in restaurant food was outstanding, staff amazing and the bar also excellent. Husband disappointed by limited choice for continental breakfast
No case stand for unpacking cases. Lack of draw storage. Felt slightly claustrophobic with long corridors and lowered ceilings but bar and dining areas much more open and in keeping with building.
