The room was on the top floor of the hotel, with a skylight view of the city. It was quiet, convenient, well maintained, and the staff were super friendly. In the morning, the breakfast was exceptional and the wait staff were equally gregarious.
The hotel was undergoing maintenance of one of its two elevators. Although inconvenient, the wait time for elevators was reasonable (as was expected). Other than that, Apex Waterloo is a great choice.

Excellent location on Princes Street in a beautiful historic building. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The rooms are spacious. The breakfast was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the swimming pool was a great bonus. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.
The only minor downside was that the beds were a little too soft for our preference.

Location was excellent, room was quiet, and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fine, but pricey.
Superior double room was tired and not as expected for a four star hotel - furniture worn, carpet stained, moldy grout in shower stall.

The staff were outstanding. Everyone was courteous and friendly. The location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go without having to pay for transportation. We were there only 1 and a half days, but we were able to see a lot, thanks to the location.
The elevators were agonizingly slow, but I know they are working on that, so that is good. Other than that, I cannot think of anything. It was as near a perfect stay as we could have hoped for.

Loved the location. The room was so nicely designed, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was great. And loved the AC. The bar and rotating water drinks in the lobby were amazing. Loved the mirror desk for makeup.
