Nicely situated next to the train station and loads of interesting points of interest, with the main entrance on level 5. That's interesting! Lovely room with a bath and a separate shower. Would definitely stay here again.
Only a minor issue but the door on the 0'th floor leads out to the train station, but there is no way back in. Would be nice to be able to also enter through that little door on the lower floor.

We travel to Edinburgh regularly for work and leisure purposes. We have stayed in a variety of hotels in the city over the years and Apex have always been excellent. Apex Waterloo is so convenient for Waverley Station and plenty of great restaurants and bars close by plus the retail stores. Staff attentive and seem happy in their place of work, always great service and ambience. Room upgrade was a lovely surprise and great breakfast.

Sad i didn't have a bath. No heated towel rail to dry my wet things. Spa was pretty tiny.

The hotel is in a very convenient location for the centre of Edinburgh. The room was very well appointed, attractive, quiet and very comfortable. I was very pleased to find both a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities,

Our room on the 7th floor was amazing, staff so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for seeing the main attractions of the City.
