Fab location, everything within walking distance, easy to reach from the airport.
Amazing staff and lush breakfast!
Beds were too firm for me personally, but that’s such an individual thing.

Hotel prices in Edinburgh are ridiculous compared to other cities eg Glasgow, London, Manchester. We would visit more often but these prices are prohibitive !

Spacious room. Quiet. Nice staff.
Toilet: had a round seat for an oblong bowl. That does not work for a women, especially when they share the toilet with their husband. Not up to standard for this hotel. Such an inexpensive change.

Excellent location close to the train station and walking distance to all the sights. Comfortable room.
Awful view into a common window well. Really noisy door slamming, I think from the stair well to the common area in front of the elevators. One elevator wasn’t working.

Reception / bar / room staff were all extremely helpful and friendly and approachable. Rooms were clean & quiet. Public areas really lovely clean and a nice calm atmosphere. Location was amazing.
Breakfast was the only very tiny negative we could find. The lady on arrival although was professional in her manner there was no warmth or smiles. All the waiting staff in uniform were lovely and friendly. The food was delicious and the room was lovely. But no plates by the toaster and no plates by the pastries. And no spare cutlery if you had eaten your cooked breakfast already and had your plate cleared then you had no knife to eat a pastry/toast with. Minor points and didn’tput us off or mar our experience in any way. (Ps Marmite would be an amazing addition too!)

Good size room, comfortable bed. Staff were very welcoming and provided excellent service.
One of the lifts was out of service so we tended to use the stairs more than the single lift.
