The location is absolutely excellent. It is perfectly placed for exploring Edinburgh, with major attractions, restaurants, and transport links all within easy walking distance. The staff were also a real highlight of the stay. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful, which made the experience feel welcoming from start to finish.
While the stay itself was great, we were disappointed with the birthday extras. We paid for the birthday package and an additional balloons package. £15 for the birthday package and £10 for the balloons. For the £10 balloons package, there was only 2 blow up balloons in the room, even though the birthday package included balloons, which felt extremely poor value for money and honestly quite misleading. This took away from what was meant to be a special celebration

Central location and a fantastic breakfast with lots of room. Kid friendly and great staff at breakfast. We did not eat in the evening, so no comment. But menu looks pretty good. Bar area was comfortable and good service.
