The location, the bedrooms spotless, spacious and plenty of light, bed was very comfortable as the pillows, and the restaurant/breakfast amazing.
There was only 1 elevator working do it took a long time to reach your floor. So we use the stairs because we were only 1 floor away from the reception, so it was easier and faster. If it were more floors in between then it would have been another story.

Very friendly and helpful staff,great room excellent,unfortunately the kitchen was closed due to an electrical issue but these things happen can’t wait to stay again
Could not fault anything we love visiting Edinburgh especially the play house so a comfortable and welcoming base is always good

Staff - super polite, precise, reacting fast on any request. Invoice - no problem. Changing a kettle (previous guest burned it) - was done immediately. Extra toilet paper - no problem. Last day, I asked just for a coffee - I received it for free. We appreciated a room on the 9th floor. It was spacious. Windows well isolated from noise. Air conditioning worked perfectly - we were there on very hot days. Room service - I recommend their fish and chips :) Delicious! Location - the best. Short, on a flat surface, walk to the Airport bus. A lively commerce in the neighborhood. Bus stop just in front of the hotel.
Wooden shelf in the bathroom with visible damage caused by water. At this place a different material, resistant to water would be better. A stain on the carpet below the desk. Staff should pay attention to this when cleaning the room. Only instant coffee available in the room - only a kettle was available in the room. But we could get coffee in the bar downstairs. The windows in the room - not washed for a long time.

Perfect location, historic building, big exclusive bathroom, room with enough space, The breakfast offered a good selection of made-to-order dishes. However, a wider variety of buffet options would be appreciated, as it would reduce waiting times and make the overall breakfast experience more efficient and convenient. Friendly staff always smiling
The bathroom had some problems: sink handle defect, shower drain clogged. There was no toilet brush, which was the biggest issue, especially since the cleaning service doesn’t always keep up with cleaning the toilet properly.

Rooms were nice. Restaurant & bar was also nice. Staff very polite & helpful.
One of the lifts was out of order due to maintenance. This caused a lot of frustrations for guests as one lift was servicing 10 floors plus the staff creating long waiting times. I was almost 10 minutes this morning just waiting.

The whole room was amazing very comfortable bed, lovely air con very spacious.Bathroom was really clean and the view from my window was amazing it was close to everything and a lovely touch with the rubber duck my daughter loved it ❤️

- Bed and Pillow were not comfortable , need thinner pillow options - Washroom had a smell and water leaked into the floor on taking shower - Light coming in from blinds and bulb missing in one of lamps
