Location was superb, staff are very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable
The noise cancellation was abit bad and we were st the room near the lift, everytime someone passed by we can hear everything. Plus, the water or drainage sound will happen every often throughout the day and night

The location was excellent right in the middle of Edinburgh, the room was fantastic very large and spacious, we also had an evening meal which was unbelievable especially the sticky toffee pudding it was the best I’ve ever had
The size of the room could have had different light sequences, one switch works all lights and we could have had a more separation of lights, I could not get over that alcohol beer was cheaper than non alcoholic beer it was very expensive

I liked everything. The hotel is located in the city centre, close to the train station and the main attractions. There is an Edinburgh Hop-on Hop-off tour bus stop opposite the hotel entrance. The hotel was clean and warm, with a SPA on the third floor, where we stayed. The staff were professional, attentive, and friendly. Breakfast was very tasty and well worth the money.

I like the front desk and restaurant staff. They were very accommodating. I also like the swimming pool and sauna. Breakfast was good. Location was excellent.
House keeping staff were not very friendly. There were significant inconsistencies in the housekeeping service. For example, the number of towels provided were inconsistent. One day you get two hand towels, two face towels and the other day you get only one hand towel and no face towels when there were two people in the room. I understand that you can always ask the front desk for additional towels but this service is basic and guests should not be spending time asking for towels when they are on vacation.
