The bed was very comfy and mini fridge was a bonus cause was rhere for 4 days. The bathroom was a little cramped you will know when u sit down lol. The staff were exceptional from my early check in on Thursday and on Sunday I came back and my phone wouldn't charge so Lewis the night porter helped me so much he printed off all my boarding tickets and bus tickets and after my phone turned on he gave me his charger for the rest of the night and said to leave it in Reception the next day without him I would have been lost. Thanks a million Lewis top job.
Ah the bathroom toilet next to the sink was a little cramped is all.

Lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff.
Beds comfortable, clean room. Plenty of toiletries etc.
Breakfast varied and enjoyable.
The room heating was too hot and couldn't find any way of controlling it.
Both my granddaughter and myself woke up several times due to the heat.

Great location near Haymarket. Big comfortable bed. Clean rooms. Good breakfast.
Some minor maintenance issues - plug didnt work in the bath.
No thermostat in room and radiation blaring through the night with no obvious way to turn it off.
It took us until 4am to work out how to turn the lights off as it seemed to need some weird combination of all 3 switches (one by door and each side of the bed) to be off. We didnt sleep very well because of this.

Newly renovated Under new ownership and management For a Sheraton branded product, a bit over priced for the value during peak, season. Rooms are quite small, although nicely appointed Nicely updated bathrooms Pleasant lounge, and bar area.
Front desk, staff as well as bar and lounge area personnel were all very pleasant and helpful.

Marriott apparently took an old hotel owned by someone other then themselves and turned it into a Sheraton, part of the Marriott Bonvoy, which I originally throught was their premier hotels and this was not. Their staff was very responsive and helpful.
Their redo of the hotel had limitations. They did not replace what was apparently single pane glass windows with newer triple pane which would have cut the very noisy street running directly next to my room to a level where I could sleep. The restaurant had a limited menu that was Italian-oriented and very bland. They should have a re-do of it. I did book last minute as I had to cancel my original plans as my original plan had 75 steps up (but great location) just to get the key to an apartment. Impossible with 2 suitcases and a cane. I apparently did not read the fine print in the booking.
